I think the "Not On Forums" one is relating to the fact that the official GD forums have been under construction for years, hence nothing being on them.

"you are diligent" is from a level called Morse (by Jayuff) At the end of the level, you need to type a secret morse code to get a coin, and it says "you are diligent" if you get the coin.

"The chicken is in the oven" is supposed to reference the chicken going into the oven as robtop starting on 2.2 and robtop never seemed to have 2.2 ready to add to geometry dash, eventually leaving the chicken to burn. At least thats what I think

The Chicken Is In The Oven Incident. Ok maybe not an incident, but what happened was that RobTop joined someone's livestream (can't remember whose, tho I was watching at the time) and started answering questions. At some point he said "the chicken is in the oven Kappa", which he much later explained simply meant he was about to have dinner. The GD community speculated it was the update being ready, and some said it had already been sent to the App Store, Google Play, and Steam to get it revised before they approved of the update. Apple normally takes the longest to do this, so people assumed in a week from that moment they'd all get to update the game, but it obviously wasn't the case. Robtop then made references to this all over the place, even inside of the game

1:30 That refers to the bug that happens when you get a coin then replay the level without exiting it you'll see that the coin you got doesn't display as it's outline but a normal coin. If you grab it tho the animation will display as the coin outline.

1:34 that happens all the time and on every level. For those wondering, yes the coin counts even though it doesn’t show the outline. Just a visual bug so if you see it, just ignore it

"geometry dash has a sinister layer to it" are words that I would never think I would hear its actually super funny I love this video

26:49 - It *COULD* also be a reference to a controversy, where Mulpan made a video on "SAVE AS", a level that is supposed to portray the alzheimer's disease. The title of the video was "Ge?@o%me?tr!y d^"as$h" and called it a glitch level, without knowing the actual context behind the level. Some people found disrespectful, which lead to Mulpan deleting the video. Not sure if this is what the iceberg was referring to, however that was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw it.

There was also some sort of exploit in 2017 that allowed people to get into accounts. It was even used to get into RobTop's account.

I think what "ID: 1" is referring to, is Stereo Madness, because if you die to the first spike there, you get a message, saying: "Tap to jump" and it's hardcoded that way. In fact, it's SO hardcoded, that if you (use hacks to) change a level's ID to 1, you still get a message, saying: "Tap to jump".

Bugged coin was probably just a simple bug everyone's probably encountered a million times. When you collect a coin for the first time in a level, restarting the level without exiting from it causes that coin to appear as uncollected until you get it again. This works with secret coins and user coins.

I'm a bit surprised that the Element 111 Rg wasn't mentioned in GD Iceberg

I still find it amazing how much history, drama, dark shit and mystery has come from a 2D game about squares jumping over spikes

If I'm remembering correctly, levelution wasn't to lower creator standards, but rather to decrease typical object counts in featured levels, to make them more accessible to mobile players

"The chicken is in the oven" was something RobTop said and everyone thought it meant he submitted 2.1 for review, meaning it was done. If I remember right, Rob was literally having chicken for dinner and he put a chicken in the oven.

Nice video, although i do have some minor critics (which are not your fault entirely) to give to the video, one is the fact that some of the topics you talked about could have been more detailed and second, pretty much all the topics in the iceberg are pretty common knowledge nowadays and there wasn’t something that really made me go “oh wow i don’t know anything about this!” But that could just be me. I still appreciate the effort you took to make the video, and the editing looks great too! So, nice job :)

10:33 There is a limit to object density RobTop introduced in 2.1. It's some sort of anti-cheat mechanism, but idk what exactly is it for.

Information for the bottom of the iceberg: Geometry dash got an update, and now we waited for 4 years for a game about jumping over triangles. But unfortunately robtop is still sleeping, so we will never see 2.2

5:25 It's possible that the reason for the files to the spinoffs being in the original game, is for easy updates. I bet that someone in the source code is a variable that can be set as, I guess a "mode" for compiling that changes the version of Geometry Dash being released. For example, 0 is probably the original game, 1 is probably Lite, 2 is world, etc. This makes it WAY EASIER to update the game as changes only need to be saved once, instead of having to be integrated into multiple versions.

The crazen situation i always hated that guy. Not to mention he hacked his tiran complex completion and nerfed his copiables (possibly hacked some)

Im a GD fan but not a HUGE GD fan, so i don't watch RU-vidrs and such on the game, i have beaten all main game levels (including demons) but this iceberg is mostly aimed at the community since the whole game was designed for it. I wish there more in game lore though. Nice job on the editing btw

1:34 I have experienced this bug a lot of times. Simply, when you finish a level and collect the coins as well, if you click the replay button the coins will still be shown as uncollected, but if you collect them again they won't count, and the normal texture for when you get a coins the second time will show. Idk If I was clear but sorry I am not english

I’m pretty sure the thing for the bugged coin one is that if you beat a level getting a coin you haven’t gotten yet, and then replay the level without going back to the menu, it still shows the regular coin in game, even though you already collected it.

I think id 1 is referring to the first level ever uploaded to the gd servers. Roptop uploaded a test level and its id was 1 but it got deleted a long time ago somehow.

"Bugged Coin" could refer to the second coin of Power Trip in Geometry Dash SubZero, where until July 11th, 2022 was impossible to get on iOS because of bug, it was fixed after GD Colon's video

I think a glitch level was referring to Mulpan saying Save As by PAHC having cool glitch effects and other similar stuff. This offended the community because Save As isn't a glitch level and it is actually a deeper level showing the stages of Alzheimers in a gd level.

I'm late. I know. Anyway just making some anotations. 1 - Cod3breaker might be refering to the ARG that made Viprin and Etzer I believe. A huge puzzle that gave Cod3breaker as the answer. 2 - Robtop actually said that Fingerbang was going to be renamed cus "This isn't p0rnhub". His words, not mine. 3 - The Map is the 'story mode' alongside The Tower. 4 - The chicken is in the oven is a double joke. One the fact that supossedly he indeed was making chicken. And two, a funny metaphor of sending the new version/update to apple and google for revision so he could launch the update. Yes this was when 2.1 was going to release. 4.5 - 'The Chicken' in-game might be a concept more than an actual chicken as said by '???' whom you rescue: "He promised me chicken... There was no chicken" *But hey that's just a theo-* 5 - Octocube, besides from being a code to the Vault of Secrets, is the name of the previously said ARG to 2.1 That's pretty much everything I know.

Everything im gonna say is along the video for doubts and stuff you may know so yea here it is: 1. 1:30 *Bugged coin.* When you hit the replay buton the game buggs itself so if you go for the first geometrical dominator coin, it will appear as non-collected but when you grab it you will only see the outline. This happens due to a info glitch of the game that doesn't register at all if you collected the coin or not, but if you exit the level you can see that counts. 2. 2:12 *The map.* Here, idk exactly but as it says on the video, the levels were called maps before which makes kinda sense if you look it in another perspective, so yea. 3. 7:10 *Combat.* I neither have idea about this but im 100% sure (of what i know) that "combat" doesnt refer to the action button in 2.2 platformer mode, btw again, as i said, about the info i know, RobTop never said anything about adding a combat button in platformer mode. The only thing i can match here is the Versus/Challenge/"Multiplayer" mode... 4. 9:55 *Not on Forums.* As i supose, people use forums or even the steam community page to look up for stuff and talk to people, some sort of Twitter (i dont use forums, dont blame me about not knowing what is), but if you look up for Element 101 RG geometry dash on RU-vid, you will find a 30 minute video of stormfly (AKA Stormy) talking about that level, which was related to some GD forums, you can see that there. And the part of "Not on Forums" is about not finding stuff that nobody knows, like as example, what happens after death. No one van prove what happens... 5. 17:43 *You are diligent.* Here I can't help either so yea moving on... 6. 24:01 If you look up at the gd account Anab6n you can see that he came back, not totally sure if its still there but around 2 months ago it was so yea. 7. 26:49 *A "Glitch level".* I havent heard that much of it but ok so just believe what he says on the video... So that is everything... I think this is very interesting and i learnt a lot of stuff here... Great video.

I've been around the community for a while now (6+ years LUL) and knew pretty much about everything and some non-mentioned details about some stuff. Also the Anaban thing got some levels unrated, like Kill Stealer by Dz3sEr. Eventually the level came back to its original state, but wasn't rated again

"The map" I think is talking about the secret red level called "The Challenge" the gatekeeper demon dude had. I dont know if this is right and they just wrote it on the list wrong but its a possibility.

Just a small correction, you might have gotten comments like these, but what you meant to say during crazens levels were Calculator Core and Wasureta, not Kowareta. Still a very good video tho, and it explains a lot of things i didnt know about the game lol
