wow! i worked at the george when "diana dors" had her book signing event.........alan lake was very nice and down to earth,diana asked me for a "st clemments dear"..and alan told me how to make it........i was runing the cocktail bar and my ex was the restaurant manager,we lived in tied accomodation towards burghley house.........fond memories.........i would love to re visit one day.stamford is such a beautiful town!......michelebaker was penney(on facebook)
