Heidelberg is probably the most known city in Germany for tourists. Ask any Japanese about what cities in Germany he or she knows and I bet Heidelberg will be top three of the mentioned. Like...Munich, Rothenburg and Heidelberg. Also: Elvis Presley: "Muss i denn zum Städtele hinaus..." is about Heidelberg, I guess.

I wonder where the 12 million(!) tourists visiting Heidelberg each year are coming from given it's a town "nobody talks about"? But you're young and surely will learn the difference between "nobody" and "I" soon ;-)
