The Get-Up is an incredible full-body movement. Practice it over and over again until you master all the steps. After that start adding "specialized variety" Get-Up drills. Enjoy! www.kettlebellclub.ca
Incredible demonstrations of these variations. Your technique is flawless, and I am inspired to practice this challenging exercise with attention to the variations. Your videos are quickly becoming my favorites!
Love Love Love the presses in between and also the gladiator and tactical getups. I also do flows where I add snatches and/or clean step backs or overhead squats then go back down for 1 rep. Great job Coach!!!
This is one of the best videos I have ever seen in Functinoal Training. Thank you for sharing this. Its's very valuable for me. Regards from Bolivia South America.
just discovered your school in DOD while looking for turkish getup tips. Didn't know there was such a school in Montreal. You should open a succursale downtown.... eh eh.
AWESOME video!!! I esp. like the gladiator get up! Hadn't heard of it/seen it until now! Thanks for this! Am gonna try this one! P.S.: As a variation of a get-up+waiter's walk/carry, since I have limited workout space, I do get-up+waiter's/overhead march-in-place...
Thanks for all the variations. But there was one missing. The bottom up reverse get up. You make a bottom up press or bottom up snatch and start from the top. When you are on the ground you obviously not lay down the bell but you get up again. That trains your coordination like the tai chi get up, but with weight. Have fun!
