Mate I'm 40 and this was my mindset. It's negative, be happy you didn't die young. I've known people to die from health reasons, accidents. From a kid being kidnapped, raped and killed from my primary school to my boss who is also 40 died this year. Life is fragile and I value growing older otherwise I would've died young.

Every car you would get into in the early 2000's: a bunch of empty soda bottles, a random back pack with writing all over it, THIS album (CD format) just sitting on the floor of the car. Usually scratched to hell. I swear, it was like a hipster law to have this CD (never well taken care of) just strewn about your car. Expect it to be thrown on the car stereo during a long drive. Expect half the songs to skip....what an era. Love this video.

We had what a modern 18 year old would kill for: car load of close friends about to drive to a show, hipster girlfriends waiting at home. It was a rare night when someone just "vegged out" online all night. If they did, it was to take a break. This era of youth culture will never be repeated. A part of my brain always lives in this.

I'm 38, and of course, I lived in this era. However, I see people saying, "Oh, how I miss my youth," and I don't understand. I've been listening to these bands since then and never stopped listening to punk, hardcore, emo, etc., so I don't miss anything! I like it now. I go to shows now. I learn about new good bands all the time. Sorry, but it was just a phase for you.

Was a common Myspace song. And also a common "we are getting ready for a long drive!" CD, from my memory? Like I remember this album being a windows down/singing along album. More so than a party/hang out CD....when this song came on, it was like "ok we are going somewhere an hour away....".

Got to see them during this tour. They were really good live. PACKED venue, too. Drove off in a crappy old van after the show, just like in the video. What an era!
