What was that you were saying about it not being 1.8 million scovilles? 😂 It could very easily hit that mark with certain sauces and if it's literally a challenge level sandwich.
I don’t know if you got that at my suggestion or not, but I like your reactions! I too got a spicy chicken sandwich from 50 West on 7/1, but I got it from the original location across from the burger bar. Different recipe. Really odd(not good) flavor combination.
hey bryan you should try daves hot chicken they have a reaper chicken sandwich that I was only able to get one bite and had to put it down and I have a high tolerance to heat
Someone needs to create a Scoville detector for everyday use. Kind of like a blood alcohol, blood sugar test thing, cov tests... Like taking a dab of what your eating, mixing it into a solution and then testing it. So you can get the EXACT or very close scale reading to know what you're getting into. Given people take heat challenges and the owners add extracts as a secret weapon to make the challenge almost inhumane to an average chili head and down right evil for someone who doesn't really dabble in hot food. It would be cool. Not to mention a good way to tell if someone is cheating in their challenge videos. NOT THAT I AM SAYING BRIAN, LA BEAST OR JOHNNY SCOVILLE ETCETERA CHEAT. Just to get a reading on what they're truly dealing with.
Tried one last week with high expectations, even bought a milkshake just in case it was too much. Ate the whole thing without touching my soda. It was good, but I’m wondering if I got a weak one…
I take Franks Red Hot Buffalo and add a super hot to it, Hellfire Kranked which brings the heat. I will do this to Wendy's spicy chicken, so much better.
When you're eating the same thing as people like Brian Ambs or Johnny Scoville and they say it's hot. Buckle up. Kind of like when you eat half of the edible your edible crazed friend had and they say it's strong. Oh boy.
One time I went to an event and they accidentally gave me the super spicy ( ghost pepper) instead of the regular spicy BBQ sandwich and it was torturous. I feel their pain!
Not to flex but Party Fowl Nashville has a chicken sandwich that’s hotter: the hot chicken Po’Boy tossed in their Poultrygeist sauce. Carolina Reaper, Scorpion Pepper, ghost pepper, fresh pure habanero and cayenne. A grand total of 2.2 million SHU. And yes, it’s hot. The hottest chicken sandwich I’ve ever eaten.
SHU ratings on peppers aren't able to be added up, a mixture of hot peppers is only as hot as the hottest one in the bunch. And seeing as it's made into a sauce it's getting diluted, so it can't be 2.2 million unless extracts are added to increase the heat level. REAPER pods are 1,6M, so their sauce isn't all natural if it actually is 2.2M. These restaurants like to make these claims but without actually being tested, we'll never know will we.
I asked this before watching dozens more videos on this channel. I get it now. BTW, am I the only person who thinks if you close your eyes, Brian sounds a little like a young David Letterman?
That Blazin' Knockout sauce isn't really that hot. I haven't done the challenge but I've ordered some of the sauce on the side and covered three of my Nashville Hot wings with it. And my nephew and I were casually dipping our fries in it.
@@89ludeawakening1 Maybe the actual challenge is different from the sauce on the side? They could incorporate fresh peppers with the actual challenge sauce
