Wait, are they really calling Benny Blanco a tik tocker? That’s beyond disrespectful. The man has been in that music game for a while, now. Producer on many hit songs. Reducing him to tick tock is like saying the rock is only famous from jumanji, and only jumanji
@Losoned bro you think only about money... The disgrace of this comparison is in what they do and not in how much money they make. To campare someone who is very gifted and worked hard for what he achieved with people who work 10h a week and get a shit ton of money for doing basically nothing is extremely disrespectful... i know there are exeptions of tiktokers but the majority of them just do trends and not much else and get views because they look good. The problem is simply in putting someone like him with all those tiktokers on the same level. Also someone who built everything on his music skills and knowledge about music and started tiktok on the side is simply more than a tiktoker and still a musician and not just a tiktoker.
He may be a ghost writer, but if he did this many songs he must have been somewhat known which would would probably make him one of the most famous ghost writers in the world
It’s an actual crime for “artists” to get all the credit for their number 1 hits when people like this guy are the actual ones behind the songs. Like anyone can have a good voice and a pretty face, that doesn’t make you a good artist. Making music does
exactly, so many good songs that i actually gave credit to the artist without even checking if he used a ghost writer or not, from now on i'll search music that i like with the same ghost writer not artist 🤣
Perhaps those songs owe their popularity to the "artist" too, Katy Perry is not Taylor Swift. Benny is like the muscle, blood, skeletal frame, etc, whilst the artist is the fine tuned, specific, and unique skin. People care more for skin than anything else. Plus Katy has nice titties
people really be out here callin benny blanco tik toker... man's a legend. awesome in Lil Dicky's show also, and the RU-vid show with Matty Matheson... oh boy
personally dont give a fuck whether a song i like is ghost written. If you like the final product then you like it. Giving a shit is kinda just you intentionally stopping yourself from enjoying something that you would enjoy. like, where tf the logic in that
idk why it's such a big deal either, it's almost as dumb as being shocked and upset that a streamer, tiktoker or youtuber etc you're a fan of is putting on a persona
Because art is meant to be created by the artist so with a ghost writer it shows that they have no real talent anyone can copy lyrics and sound good u know
The outside listener will never notice it's more like genuine when the artist themselves made it when its ghostwritten the whole message of the song doesnt relate to the person and it's just weird
@@nydeatha9220 no art is deep. And has different sides. For US, the viewer. Art is meant to be consumed. That's it. whether or not the art is meant to be authentic or to emotionally MEAN something is subjective to the artist. Not ART as a whole. Don't mix those up
@@nydeatha9220 words should be relatable. Not necessarily always the person saying them. Although if you hold that person or artist on a special pedestal for you, thats kinda your own reasoning. But you still have to remember and "hope" that the artist themselves resonates in the lyrics just as much as they hope the listener does. And if the artist that you indulge yourself in so much also relates to the lyrics just as IF they had written it themselves, well then what does it matter whether THEY managed to creatively come up with it or not? They're human, maybe they just couldn't come up with it themselves and instead needed someone else to put it onto words. After all, you love and relate with this artist because of their perfections AND flaws. Soooo judgement for not being in the mindspace to write the song KIIINDA seems retardedly hypocritical no?
Ghost writing should be more accepted honestly. There's nothing wrong with someone who's extremely talented at writing songs for popular artists. For some reason people see it as a bad thing, or as if the artist is too lazy to write songs themself. I don't know why people view it this way though. There is no popular/maintstream music being recorded, produced, created, etc. by only one individual. Even if you don't have ghost writers, it still requires a team of professionals working together on the beat, sound, recording, etc to make almost all mainstream music. I don't see why ghost writing is any different
@@friski-fn8os and why do you think they deny it? the entire point I was making is that if it was more accepted there wouldn't be any reason for artists to deny or try to hide it
Why are they calling him a tiktoker lmfaooo he has had massive songs directly attached to his name like Eastside way before any tiktok success. It's like calling justin bieber a tiktoker, just because he also happens to make tiktoks
I just think it’s fucking crazy how he could watch a whole video and it he barely got him into a comp game. Ik it’s because he’s a high rank but shit 12 minutes
you can see how worthless and useless SOME chatters are when the video talks about a skill or an opportunity. the cynicism and wild takes immediately come out. they can't fathom just being good at shit, displaying it and having people impressed with you. being good or enjoying something is something they look at with disdain and almost always think it's all fake. i had no clue who this guy was but on those short clips, you could tell he was obsessive.
all this hard work and dedication just so people make fun of his "pop songs" ... meanwhile in the current year some random teenagers make a trash rap song on tiktok and go viral with a lame trap beat and every voice sound the same .. music biz is brutal
