Playing zone and having the front 4 constantly go after the qb will help our young dbs. In prior years. It was our front 4 that helped out dbs cuz it was none stop rushing basicly. Huge factor to our Super Bowl runs.

I think the secondary will be pretty solid BECAUSE of our front 7. I wish we invested more into it, though. Imagine Byron Murphy Jr. next to Dexter Lawrence. Or Quinyon Mitchell opposite Banks. Our Super Bowl years predicated on suffocating defenses and I suspect a lot of us have forgotten that.

I expect our defensive line to make plays including scoring.

Jalen mills has some experience although I'm assuming he will play safety for us he is semi vet been in the league for a few years starting with the eagles and then the patriots

Bowen likely running a lot of zone D with some man coverages mixed in with 3 Safeties most the time and like a 25% blitz percentage and we’re rushing 4 and dropping 7 in coverage most the time so that should help out a young secondary…as well as D-line causing havoc and forcing off-schedule throws/getting sacks. Nubin is a very cerebral player and a ballhawk so I expect him to be the glue…lining guys up, making plays, and wearing a C as a rookie. Bro started learning the playbook early so he could help other guys - his words👀 Pinnock is a DAWG and Belton has flashed ball production in limited snaps. Banks, Flott, Phillips, McCloud, Hawkins, Holmes,etc… - Jerome Henderson [Defensive passing game coordinator] and DB coach now too👀

Hawkins could step up too. He's got some experience now. They also brought in David Long, a vet

I agree with Anthony that McCloud is better than Flott. But overall I’m tired of guys with potential. Someone has to step up. I like Banks and JMS but let’s face it. They weren’t good. Especially JMS. We all feel they’re going to get better. We’ll see. This year I’m going into the season very pessimistic. The quote the WHO. “I won’t be fooled again”

So the giants can cut waller now and designate him as June 1 cut and save 11m I would also restructure Bobby O or dex and free up more $ call Kareem Hunt or SF for Elijah Mitchell or Carolina chubbard hell I might even call Cleveland for chubb then I would extend slayton, and call Xavier Howard or Gilmore, marshon lattimore shouldn't be out of the picture
