If we want to show the importance of God in the world, then we need to feed Him to His people and not withdraw the Eucharist from the sheep when the media spreads the demonic FEAR.
Great talk on the Eucharist . My own thoughts about rejuvenating the love for the Eacharist must start firstly with the priests. Sadly, I think if a survey was done on the belief of Christ’s Presence in the Eucharist among priests, the numbers that don’t believe would be startling..if a priest doesn’t believe , his parishioners run the risk of non belief also..
Closing churches during the pandemic did incredible harm in the larger message 'we saw': if leaders of the church believed Jesus is present in the Eucharist they never would have closed the churches. We want, and need, Him more during times of difficulty when He IS the only answer (think of Mass attendance after 911). If missing Mass is a sin because it offends God, a blanket 'pass' implies the 'Sunday Obligation' is a 'man-made' rule subject to man's whims. Actions speak louder than words and the actions taken by the church during the pandemic said 'you're on your own', 'saving your body is more important than saving your soul' and indicated leaders didn't believe God Is Who He Says He Is - with people wondering if what they've been taught is a lie (especially those raised after Vatican II). I, like many who believe, went to Latin rite churches that never closed their doors. My parish church hasn't recovered from the pandemic, on the other hand, the Latin Mass church is thriving. Many of my friends, who attend daily Mass and enjoy pilgrimage, have no interest in going to the event in Indianapolis.
My only problem with this video is, you had thhheeee DR SCOTT HAHN on the panel, why would you NOT mention that in your title???????????? I'm sure all the panelists are wonderful too. Will watch it.
