She probably would have read several books, but I think that she would still be addicted to technology. This means she'll probably read quite less.

I dare say I read as much as Rory, in the current time. I use my phone but I don't find it insteresting, I maily use it to communicate with friends and family.

Here's to being a showoff, but I love reading physical books in public. It's very rare to see anyone read on the morning bus, let alone anyone my age, and it makes me feel like a "main character", in a way (Rory Gilmore, perhaps? She's definitely an inspiration.) I've heard from a few friends that they feel inspired when they see me reading, it's a good way to take a break from screens, and I get my daily pages in. Can't complain. May I ask why you're uncomfortable with openly reading in public?

@@inessa5923 I’m over that fear now I’m in year 12 (especially as literature student), I was reading the bell jar on the bus earlier. Also my school library is amazing. I guess at secondary school I was scared because it was a different social situation. Also I felt awkward idk.

@@inessa5923 The same thing happened to me, but I was super self-conscious. I am socially awkward and I get nervous easily in social settings, so it's kind of overwhelming when people stare at you. The main thing is, when they are looking at you, you don't know if they are looking in admiration or thinking you're a freak. And that thought freaks me out.

Do not feel self conscious! Reading is amazing! It means that you are smart and that you care about education. Books are life! Do not feel shame, go crack open one of your favorite books, in public!

I don't understand why people would think you are a freak just cause you're reading a book, it's such a natural thing to do! Relax and enjoy your book, especially if paper cause the smell is always great😍 you won't even notice if somebody is looking at you 😊

Don't feel bad, I knew about Gilmore Girls but didn't watch it until this year (2020) during the early days of the pandemic! That and Gossip Girl got me through! Now, here it is, November 2020 and I'm still wanting to rewatch both! Especially Gossip Girl! Hope you enjoyed the coziness that is Gilmore Girls! 😍

What makes you think that? The fact that she is only ever shown to read novels, biographies, essays, and short story collections? …At least she's probably read some Shakespeare.

She led him on so he had a right to be mad. Then earlier she played the victim and told everybody she was dumped. I don't blame him honestly. If you watched the episodes before you would see his side. I was mad when Rory said she thought everyone knew she was "dumped" when it wasn't even true. The viewers knew she wasn't dumped. Then avoids him like a coward. Like, girl you know you ran away and dumped him, as well as lying to Dean about Jess. That reminded me of my ex boyfriend from a few years ago when Rory runs away and did everything she could to avoid Dean when it was her fault.

I think Dean was annoyed at how long they'd been at the book fair and not that they were there at all. She'd already selected around 2 dozen books to buy.

Their first conversation ever was about Moby Dick and how amazingly concentrated Rory was when reading. Dean was a sharp, caring boyfriend, and then "oh-so-smart" Jess came along and Dean was dumbed down by the writers to give contrast. God forbid more than one well-read guy inhabits Stars Hollow, I guess.
