Riley, our Jack Russell terrier is 16 years and nine months old now. But he is dying. He had a rough night last night and I just stayed close and loved him as I always have. Watching this this morning helped to remind me of all of our good times together. I may be too old now to get another dog, but he always gave us his best and we to him also. He has been such a dear friend, and I will always think of him and be thankful for every day we had.
@@triggerfish6619 My wife of 49 years believes that our pets will be with us in heaven. I have doubts but still continue to pray that it's so. Thanks Triggerfish.
I'm so sorry to hear about Riley. It's incredibly tough to say goodbye to such a loyal and loving companion. The bond you shared is clearly something special, and it's beautiful that you’ve been there for him, just as he’s always been for you. He’s given you a lifetime of love, and you’ve done the same for him. Cherish those memories-he’ll always have a special place in your heart. Wishing you strength and peace during this difficult time.
There has been always a dog in ny life. Just a few days before I came to this word my father brought an Irish setter puppy named Benzu, at home. Today 58 years after those days I share my life with Mush, a siberian Husky. My best friends, my beloved fellows have always been the dogs that have been around me. I miss all of them and prefer not to think too much becouse Id end in tears. I cannot understand my life without the company of a dog. Hope one day when I finally pass by, I'll meet my dogs, my loved friends again.
A pet is not an easy gift because it is a living, breathing, feeling creature that doesn't last very long, just a cute one "animal baby" will be! This being wants to be cared for and loved until the end of his life! People should always be aware of this and act accordingly!😐
I am a senior 78 and I only adopt senior dogs since I am older now and want to give senior dogs a new chance at life! Lost 3 in a little over a year but gave them the best last years/months! I now have adopted an 11 yr old Maltese mix! Love these stories!
my old fellow Sparky is 16. I have no idea what I'll do when he goes to his reward. He is so much of what I am and has been for so many years. Maybe this posting has helped me make a decision. There is little love so true as that you share with your dog. I don't think I can do without it
I just hope they keep loving those puppies after the start peeing, pooping and chewing things. They are the most precious gift anyone can have, but we need to know there is a lot of work involved to keep such a treasure. By the way they receive them seems to me they'll keep good care of them, I do hope so ❤❤❤❤
The girl in the oringe suirt is so cute with the dog the one in the car that’s cuddles with the kids looking true the window is my fav and how could I forget the first one am I right lady’s
Dogs, don't know, and probably don't care, about human appearances or other human physical characteristics. They are beautiful through and through and deserve our love and understanding. Remember: If you find yourself in a desperate situation, don't abandon, arrange for an adoption!!!
I bought a German shepherd pup. Poor pup was home for a week before it remembered it had legs. Every time i saw it, one of my kids or my wife was carrying or cuddling it. Now the cuddling still happens, but the pup is too heavy to carry lol
All that is so lovely! But please: Don’t surprise a person who has lost a fur baby with a pet - it might be too soon, comparisons could be made involuntarily etc. I lost my beloved cat of 15 years just five days ago and am afraid I would feel completely overwhelmed and like a traitor with a new baby. Just saying, didn’t mean to be a killjoy.😭😻😭
@elisabeth8798: When I had have my cat euthanized after 18 yrs because of kidney disease, I couldn’t take the silence of coming home to an empty condo. I felt l would be betraying my cat by getting another one, but then a thought came into my head that I would honor my beloved cat by saving another that was on death row at the humane society, but before I did that, I was driving down a busy street and saw a cat running across 4 lanes of speeding cars and I turned my car around to see where it was going and I saw it, got out of my car and the little red cat walked right up to me, looked up and “meowed”, I said “get in the cat” and it did. I loved that cat. Slept on my bed with the heating blanket and only got up to eat and use the litter box. I did try to find the owner - long story short - the owner moved and abandoned their cats so she was mine.
I adopted a Pitbull a few years ago, and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. They're incredibly loyal and loving companions. I hope you're able to bring home a Pitbull puppy soon!
@@marisnguyen3477 Thanks so much for your comment. I pray to get one soon, if not for my birthday. It definitely has to be a puppy, so that I can begin bonding with him as soon as possible to begin socialization and obedience training. He is needed to be trained as my Service Dog to accompany me everywhere.
