Skid Row in Los Angeles, California is one of the largest and most dangerous homeless encampments in the country and it's one of the places where Khadijah Williams grew up. Homeless from the age of 6 years old, she slept in shelters on Skid Row, abandoned homes and sometimes right on the street. But Khadijah was determined to make a better life for herself. She had to make a better life for herself, it was the only way she would survive Skid Row.

This is what I'm talking about. Many kids blame their situation on why they are killing and looting and then crying that they don't have opportunities. There are always opportunities and especially if your a minority. There are tons of grants and funding for school, you just need to reach out for it. Great and inspirational story
@DJPoundPuppy

You need to be able to have gas money and pay for class and supplies. Privileged children don't have that problem. You are not MORE opportunities for brown disadvantaged youth. That is simply false.

Much respect and this is why I hate how people get mad cause the government don’t help out homeless the help is there but 90% of homeless in USA are homeless cause they prefer the drug and if a person doesn’t want to help themselves then why should people care to help them you can also tell the difference from a homeless asking for money drugs and a homeless who really is asking for money for food and please listen cause this will help you all telling the difference from a drug addict homeless from a person who fell in Gad times financially ok so when people are begging for money if you see a person just sitting there holding a sign or just quiet holding a cup not begging you just hoping they get some money well most of the time that person is not using drugs they really need the money for food but they still feel the shame and embarrassment to ask as to a drug addict homeless you see them walking around begging everybody and they beg with no shame and embarrassment at all cause a drug addict needs to quickly beg like crazy for money that’s why you see them like rushing everything cause if they don’t get their drug in time and go into withdrawals it’s gonna be impossible for them to beg for money cause when you’re going through full on withdrawals it’s like you’re dying of a horrible cancer that’s literally how it feels you throw up severely with no food in your stomach you feel like you can’t even breathe from trying to throw up your lungs cause you have no food on your stomach and you don’t have food cause no matter what you won’t eat nothing you can literally go like 7 days with no food and your body won’t even feel the hunger cause it’s too busy dealing with the horrible pain of the withdrawals even your bones hurt feels like you want to dig in your skin and rip them out some people punch their legs n knees hard that’s how bad the bones hurt with the restless leg syndrome too man then headaches and cold sweats and severe depression and your body just feels %100 weak trust me even if you’re a strong fighter when you’re on full on severe withdrawals even a 15yr old nerd can beat you up that’s how weak you are
