Having only just discovered this case and not having researched it thoroughly, it is possible that the ones which received their extremely lenient sentences told investigators the others threatened them to cooperate or die and they were mortified about reporting their crimes. (This is an unsatisfactory excuse, but the only explanation which comes to mind beyond an evil judge/ accomplice).

I was kind of blessed and when I was going with him alot of people thought oh well he just going to have sex with her and break up with her just like all the dudes do out there. They thought that me and him was going to break up but we didn't we lasted so long we last longer than anybody & when we stop going to HSJC people on FB was like woww y'all still go together lol.. Tragically, when Vietnam was being evacuated, the family of a boy who would become friends with one of my sons moved here to escape the violence. A few weeks after arriving here, their daughter was brutally murdered! Same story - came to a safe country to have a family member murdered here.

The fact that they offered her one means they aren't confident in the outcome of the trials, despite the overwhelming amount of empirical and circumstantial evidence. There, doubtlessly, are details the public aren't privy to that factor in here. The obvious presence of these complications, to me, make an already interesting case even more interesting. I guess we'll eventually see what shakes out in the end. As for Desiray herself- let her get off easy. I've met many of her ilk, and they tend to be self-solving problems. She will, absolutely, find a replacement for the PoS dude that got her into this situation in the first place. She's only shown every indication that she's learned absolutely nothing. Can't say too much but I'm still fighting them & the city I actually had my lawyer request to have our case heard in a different county because they r well known here where we live & had relationships with most of the laws here and judges ect. I went to a tour over 27 years ago - I told them "THIS IS JAIL FOR KIDS" and kindly declined! Thankfully I had a family that supported me and my life turned out GREAT!!

I actually went to the one in homestead and its an absolute hot pile of garbage I left after a week it’s literally filled with lots of criminal kids especially since homestead is one of the most dangerous places in south Florida

I was almost made to go to one after I lost my parents. I'm so glad in the end I wasn't forced to go. My teacher had looked up the closest one and that shit straight up looked like jail
