I was watching an Asian news channel and the presenter was saying this is a growing trend in ALL East Asian countries - more and more people are moving out to small villages and towns instead of staying in the cities. Apparently the schools are far less populated so help their children with their studies because there's so few students in the class. Not to mention homes are cheaper, there is more outside space around and one mum from SK said her kids are always out exploring and spend less time watching tv and games. She said that she spent her free time meeting other new people who've moved there and also cultivating her own vegetables. The lifelong residents, mostly older people apart from the local teacher, said that hearing children playing and laughing really felt like the heart of the village was back. So to see this family doing the same is really nice and the house looks really lovely.

I'm very curious about the traditional style Chinese kitchen and would like to know more about it. As a westerner I have no idea what each part is for or how it works. I love to see old furniture brought back to life as well, it's so much sturdier than new and you can express your creativity and individuality when renovating it. I love the whole renovation. Lots of determination and hard work to produce a beautiful result. ❤

I don't know how it was that I caught up into watching Asian renovation shows but for the life of me I cannot figure out why paint is dripped everywhere (on the floors, on furniture, on tile) and it is never cleaned up I also cannot understand why Windows are painted and a whole bunch of the glass is painted and it's never cleaned off the glass like multiple colors multiple layers and nobody ever cleans it off. Drives me absolutely insane. But I think the thing that drives me the most insane is that wallpaper patterns, floor/wall tile patterns are never lined up or rules of linoleum are laid down just overlapping each other I'm just so confused and dumbfound it over it

Keep the end of the hammer that hits the nails nice clean and shiny. If you clean the hammer end after every use when you get it out it will hit the nail squarely and shouldn’t bend it. There is a way to do everything but like hitting nails requires learning and that requires keeping things clean too. It’s a tip my father taught me as back in those days ( just after WW II it was straighten nails then reuse.

It would be nice to have some English subtitles to be able to follow a long with how the up dates are.
