پاکستان کی پہلی ہاتھ سے تیار کردہ ٹو ڈی اینیمیٹڈ فیچر فلم 'گلاس ورکر' کے پیچھے عثمان ریاض کا ہاتھ ہے۔ یہ فلم بنانے میں انہیں 10 سال لگ گئے اور اب یہ فلم کانز جیسے بین الاقوامی فلم فیسٹیولز میں پہنچ چکی ہے۔

یہ پرانی باتیں ہیں کہ اگر آپ ڈاکٹر یا انجینیئر نہیں بنے تو failure ہے۔ پاکستان میں تو بچے انجینیئر بن کر بھی سالوں فارغ پھرتے ہیں اور ڈاکٹر بننے والے بچوں کو بھی کوئی بہت ذیادہ سیلری والی جاب مِلنا مہال ہوتا ہے۔ تو بات یہ ہے کہ آپ جو بھی فیلڈ منتخب کریں اُس میں خوب محنت کریں اور پھر کامیابی ضرور آپ کے قدم چومے گی۔

In Pakistan you need to have a background in a field of your choice or a support system in place in order to be successful in any field. You are lucky that your family was behind your back + it's a very difficult task to draw frame by frame and turn it into an animated movie. Much appreciated and we will definitely watch it. Ministry of culture should promote young directors. This way our film industry is going to thrive
