How can you not like that guy! So chill and down to earth. 😎👌 The glazer looks like a sick board. I think the glazer as a twin looked loose and fun. Yeah Rob! 🤘
Watching Rob generate all that speed on the 5'2 is amazing to watch. From pumping down the line to snaps and cutbacks, his smooth style makes it look effortless. San Diego natives 4 life 🤙
fan of machado and goldfish. saw your live set a few weeks ago on the stream. can we all hang out? and yes i have seaside, ss+beyond and now need this.
Love that this video has no music, just simple surfing and explanation that I appreciate from the master. Hey Rob, you're wearing my favorite pants from our friends at Vuiori. Peace-
I thought mine was a Dud when I first bought it, left it in a cubboard for a while and used other boards until I pulled it out on a day when the waves were clean but lacking a bit of push and put a different set of fins in. Game changer, fins made a huge difference. Paddles well, fast, turns really nice, I find the rails a little boxy on bigger days, but i'm certainly no Machado. Has a permanent spot in the quiver now 🤙
@@Apeunion the 7'4 is a midlenght same as the CJ Nelson Outlier. This is made in thunderbold red and silver. When you see the clip of CJ surfing the wave ranch looks pretty awsome
I have this in the 5,5" and first impressions were it felt slow and boggy , but I got the proper glazer fins and it made it feel more drivey but still needed a decent wave to get it going, I would"nt class it as a weak wave board it needs more of a pushy wave to get it up to speed, think I will try it as a twin as theyre always faster, my other board which is a standard fish tail twinny ,felt like a rocket after riding this hopefully I can get some better sessions on it , but so far it just feels SLOW.
@Firewire Surfboards this is such a fun board please keep it around indefinitely I’ve already ordered my second one… one question I do have is the wave range I know the website says 5’ but I’ve surfed it overhead waves 6’ or just a touch over and the added volume puts you in place early to set your line do you agree?
Best breakdown of the boards since... This crazy guy who used to do a show about his "shed" and got snatched up by Firewire.🤔 Nobody knows exactly what happened to him, but I like to think he's still in his shed toiling away in front of an unplugged camera doing book reviews. 🤣 Good night or good morning, dang it!
Lovely. I typically ride a 29L board and just tried out the 5.7 Sea Side, from a friend, in small waver and the board is so fast...What is you litter recommendation between all all around board and the sea side for small waves (I mean one to 2 foot low period 8 or 9 seconds period ?
Same shapes, over and over. I'm the inventor of the Cornice whom Spaniards copied and sold to FireWire but you don't see me bragging. No pun intended to Rob. He is a great guy.
Great comment the judges don’t like the board , judges take not ( it’s about the surfing , not the board , so come on all you WSL athletes and bring back surfing for what it was and not commercial money making. Surfing for surfers , if the spectators don’t get it real surfers do.
Next Rob will saw the legs off his coffee table, stick a winged fin on it , call it the Java and go out shred on it. I mean he can make anything look good. Plus nice clean waves help. Average joe’s gonna go out and drop a K on one of theses and wonder why he’s not ripping. 🤔
What if my deck skin gets dirty? My deck skin is usually nice and hard and my gf loves it but sometimes it just gets dirty. My bros even compliment my deck skin but now I'm just afraid to show my deck skin out in public. Firewire Help!
Too many boards too many choices not enough time not enough money.they are all so good these days though and the websites are pretty accurate when describing them.
