For potions you can eventually "DISTILL" once you get alchemist to level 2. When you distill you can gain back one of the herbs it cost to craft. Obviously with unhealthy mixture you get no return on that because Obviously it's gross 😂. But that is explained in the rulebook in the brewing potions section.
@Stein1982 ah thank you for the correction, now that I read the rulebook portion again it's very clear that in their case currently it could be distilled to either rock root or snow thistle, as those are revealed. You Def helped the utility of this rule for upcoming portions of my groups campaign!

With the resource camps. Someone should always buy as many as you can. Material resources can be sold back at any time for 2g. It is also important for the greed is good retirement goal.
