I got my Hummer EV SUV first edition just before last Christmas. I enjoyed every minute I was driving it. I had twenty vehicles in the last 40 years, including a BMW M6 and a Corvette C7. Nothing is as fun as this one. I think the money is well spent.
I think this vehicle is extremely sick but in my opinion, it's also really impractical. If you live in colder climates this vehicle would actually be nearly useless because of the charging problems it has in colder weather. Unless you are only driving to work and back and only charge at home it would be a cool status thing but for actual off-road use, 300 miles of range is not a lot even as a reserve if you get stranded somewhere. Look at Stradman's video. He experienced so many issues when he took it off-roading. I think GM has a lot to improve before coming out with a future version that really provides the best experience with an off-road EV can provide. Also, the general shape completely ignores the efficiency EVs are associated with. They are meant to be aerodynamic so you can get the most range otherwise you will be at the charging station every second day. No hate for this vehicle, I love the idea but the technology GM has incorporated needs to be held to a much higher standard before it can compare to an ICE vehicle of such caliber.
GMC Hummer EV in the US may cost 98,000$ and I'd love to have one but in my country, Brazil, it's costing 230,000$. Madness! So many brazilian taxes ...
Wrong human to be testing this. Special licence? Harsher ride? This is an off-road version. Of course it's going to not be as luxurious. This guy should stick to Prius and Corollas.
FYI that button to push all the windows down at once was originally only on the original hummer h2 and then when GM asked the hummer brand, they moved it to the Silverado in the Sierras and now it’s back in the hummer EV

I miss my old Hummer H3 with 5 spd manual transmission. My favorite vehicle ever. Just too slow and build quality issues were all over the place. Always wished they'd just make it better and bring it back, it was better than a Rubicon off road.
Nice hummer but the wheels not too aggressive, the jeep rubicon 392 has impressive aggressive wheels I hope in the future hummer will make aggressive wheels
It's $100,000. If you put $15,000 down and finance for 10 years you payment is $901.36 each month. That's a mortgage payment folks!. Range is 300 miles except winter weather then it's 240 mile range. Away from home gonna cost you $50 or more to charge and a hour or more wait. For what exactly? CO2 in our atmosphere is 0.04%. If every vehicle in America were a EV we would only reduce tailpipe emissions 0.0002%. Currently our power grid couldn't support such a thing and any major volcanic eruption eliminates your CO2 reduction by going to a EV. I am 60. Since 1967 the Climate Change alarmist are 0-41 in my lifetime. I am sticking with my gas powered car. I live in Florida, we can't outrun a hurricane in a EV. People need to get back to basic common sense.

This ain’t the Ford Lightning - wrong vehicle. GM’s EVs actually push the envelope of design and look futuristic. Not only do the look the part, they’re more technologically advanced and off-road capable than any other civilian passenger vehicle in production EV, and looks better than any other EV SUV in my opinion. But the haters will *hate.*
“Rubberized steering wheel” is that how you say leather wrapped and stitched steering wheel in _hater?_ I didn’t know you could warm a rubber steering wheel. I also think it’s funny this guy wants you to know the bottom of the door panels are *plastic* and anything else that may keep a buyer from purchasing this SUV he wants you to “keep in mind”. I’m so sick of these weirdos who are haters but pretend to be giving a unbiased review. I’ve never seen them open the doors of a vehicle and tap/scratch/examine the bottom of the doors unless it’s a GM product. I’m also not sure if the $100,000 build costs went into the window functionality or the vehicle’s capability on _and_ off road. Horribly nitpick heavy and dishonest review. Why agree to review something from a brand you personally are biased against? It doesn’t make for great content. It’s kinda weird.
byd can run on water for 30 minutes. can run of one type os puncture without getting tilt. byd can also move 360 wothout moving forward and have 4 engines for all 4 tyres
