I was 8 years old when I saw this video for the first time. Although I didn't understand most of the video's content, I laughed anyway for its creativity and randomness. This video (and the Idiot Box series) was strongly part of my childhood years. I watched this an eternity ago. Man did I love being there when a new episode came out. It was a wild period, modders making the weirdest servers on TF2, valve being in full swing, absurd GMOD videos coming out left and right. Things have changed, so did you and I and all those who watched. Sometimes I relaunch TF2 and feel a bit sad that the modders have moved on, that the mood from old had changed. But that's not a bad thing. Stuff shouldn't stay stuck in one place forever. I couldn't remain the same playing TF2 and binging videos in all my free time. Modders have moved on to other games for those who still want to, others even work on video games, and others still simply got new projects and hobbies. Things should stop before they feel stale to produce. I'm glad it happened in the first place. It was wild, absurd, and a delight while it lasted. So thank you for the wild ride, pal, it was a pleasure. All the best for whatever life has in store for you.

Before RU-vid Premium, there was this. When Netflix only MAILED movies, there was this. When you didn't have to sit through ads to see your RU-vid video there was this. When RU-vid still said: "Broadcast yourself" there was this. God I realized this is my "back in my day" old man speach.

I was 14 when I watched DasBoSchitt's videos for the first time today I'm 27 and his video series of "The Gmod Idiot Box" still make me laugh like the first time, I'm very happy and lucky to have discovered these videos at that age, I had unforgettable moments I don't know if DasBoSchitt happens to watch the comments of his videos but I would like to say a big thank you for these wonderful moments.

I remember watching this with my brother. We couldnt understand english, but we still watched it, silently, not nessesarily laughing, just smiling, entertained, from the first episode to the last, waiting for a new video everytime we finished one. This channel was my childhood.

When dasboschitt got recognition for his hard work, now its just grownup squeakers like venturiandick and vanoss who just spam videos, stale memes, and still get more reward than boschitt, which is absolute BoSchitt when you think about all the work he puts in to this.

Can we please have 2008 RU-vid back? Back when it wasn't used primarily for monetary gain and was instead used for creativity and passion? The most memorable stuff in my mind all came from old RU-vid. Gman Squad, Idiot Box, Klay World, SuperMarioLogan, CuteMarioBros, old school Pewdiepie, and so much more. Todays RU-vid is now a garbage dump with very little unique and creative individuals that have passion for what they do. I am kind of sad that we can't have old RU-vid back. I'm just glad we have time capsules like these that lets us travel back to a simpler time on RU-vid. I will never forget videos like these.
