Red Bull Formation is a first-of-its-kind invitational progression session that aims to pave the path for women in freeride mountain biking. The event returned for its third year in Virgin, Utah, one of the most iconic landscapes for the freeride mountain biking movement.

To all the women in this video, and the team responsible for producing it: thank you SO much. I have been watching this video on repeat with my 4 year old daughter for the last few months. Stoked to see this, I raced DH in the 80's and 90's and I had two girls on our race team that both become solid DH riders and watching them progress and riding with them was always a blast!

wow. didnt expected such great riding. The progession is insane. 2021 i was just curious. 2022 its some of the best freeriding out there. A RB Formation for men would be great to. This lose non competetive works with darkfest or audi nines too.

This reminds me of how in the sport of rock climbing at least 50% of climbers are women. When i started rock climbing in 1973 in So Cal there were only maybe 3%. Now the gals are going for it on Mtn BIkes !!! gotta love it.

This is cool! I always knew women had the ability to jump these mountains. Im surprised it's just now happening. The one question I have is. How does it feel to land on your chest/breasts compared to guys?

There was no reason women couldn't have been doing this with the men 10 years ago. . . . . SOOO much of what it takes to do these runs is 80% heart and 20% geometry(Math). . . . . because 90% is holding on and steering(drifting) along the paths defined by the course builders. It's nice to see the women understanding that they are just as capable of completing these runs. . . .

I'm all for equal opportunities but I've seen some horrific crashes where women tried to keep up with dudes. Women can do what they want but society shouldn't pressure them into acting like men, imho.
