When,I was in high school in1987 ,I loved Belinda Carlisle. She was so beautiful . I wonder how lucky her husband feels? I was in tenth grade back then.I still lobe her.
BALTIMORE LOVES GINA!! CATHOLIC HIGH LOVES GINA!! DUNDALK LOVES GINA!! STANSTOCK LOVES GINA, COME AND MAKE A SURPRISE APPEARANCE GINA!! MAKE STAN-DA-MAN HAPPY!!!!
Here's what's pathetic the go go's only had four albums only four songs charted no number ones and the bangles were only together for a couple of years only had 3 hits that charted and all this crap about inspiring females to have a band is a load of crap it's been plenty of females before then that played instruments heck sister Rosetta tharpe is in the hall of fame she inspired many male guitar players also klymaxx came out the same time as the bangles. And the go go's and had hits so it's just white privilege again
@@anthonytaylor7928 you sound like nicole wallace and sunny hostin and joy behar and joy reid and omar - rip klymaxx many people in the black community could not even name any member
@@anthonytaylor7928 i disagree. The Go Go's debut album was entirely written and performed by the band abd was was a number one album. The Bangles whom i like a lot - didn't write their hits - except susanna with outside writers and they also used studio musicians perhaps against their will but nonetheless and finally never had a number one album. Prince, Alex Chilton, Simon and Garfunkel and others provided the hits - and that is a huge difference. The Go Go's charted in 1981 and the Bangles real success was not until 1986. Finally - why try to pit band against band? It is ok to like the Beatles and the Rolling Stones - does not need to be one or the other.
@@MC-lc3xi are u responding to me I've never mentioned any bangles in my comment I just mentioned female musicians before them when some folks act like they were the first which is entirely not true
