A critical part of NFL lore was left out of this. The 1965 playoff game for the Western division between the Colts and Packers was decided by a blown call on an overtime field goal. The Packers were credited with a FG but photos showed the kick was wide. Because of this the goalposts were lengthened for higher kicks. This was called the Baltimore extensions.This nugget should have been in this piece.
