In season 1 the demon that eats Urokodaki's students said he identifies them by the warding masks they wear, so the demon that wounded Giyu saved his life by breaking his mask in the process.

Real talks, big props to Carter for taking an interest in Japanese culture and understanding the value of bushido tradition and all the other strict stuff that comes with it. One of my best friends and business partners is a Japanese fella who has a lot of contacts in Japan, and he explains so much of how things operate for them in regards to business relations and how I should act, it's super enlightening and carries over in a formality format for North American business contacts for me. Love your progression brother, keep it up!

I think Tanjiro & Giyu are closer than ppl realize because Giyu's sister was killed by demons while Nezuko was turned into one. I think that sibling love is what made Giyu direct Tanjiro to Urokodaki and eventually to Sabito as well. Sabito big brothered both Giyu & Tanjiro.

Pretty sure kyojuro rengoku becomes a hashira purely out of a sense of duty. He sees it as a responsibility of his family, passed down from one generation to the next. I assume that's also how he can be such a positive force

Nah, the 4th and 3rd spot of the strongest hashira that can be debatable b/w water and serpent hashira but 1st is stone , 2nd is wind and 5th is mist, 6th was flame(rengoku), 7th is love hashira, 8th was sound(tengen), 9th insect hashira. This list is based on their breathing technique and how much good they are in terms of using it. Still the weakest hashira is still too much stronger than any demon slayer and above the lower moon level but weaker than original upper moons

Saying the back stories are the same because they involve a demon somewhere in them is very surface level tbh. The back stories are all extremely different and the characters suffer in different ways. Most back stories that even contain a demon often don't even have the demon be a focus at all. You could make the same complaint with any other fictional series in existence.
