As someone who HAS NOT read the manhwa I thought it was all right (one of the first seasonals I watched). But I do know those that were huge fans of the manhwa were really disappointed with how the series progressed, especially towards the end of the season.

An anime so hype up like solo leveling fell flatter than an egg, they thought that putting 100 chapters into 12 episodes would have been a good idea. It's like watching dragon ball, you have kid goku suddenly become SJ1 and then jumps to SSGSS god level with no context for it...the manhwa is good but the anime isn't.

Havent read the manhwa, but somewhat a guilty pleasure of mine. Ive heard a lot about the pacing being off, but i still enjoyed the heck out of it and i think the fight choreography is really cool to watch.

This anime is a sleeper for me. I really enjoyed this anime and you would too Gaz!!! FYI its done by Mappa and we all know whatever Mappa does ends up being damn good!

This is a really good opening but you should see the GoH (God of Highschool) opening for the mobile game, it's WAY better, visually and musically.

I listened to the op song so much when it came out lol I got the feeling while watching the anime that they skipped a lot from the original story (which I haven't read), because the final eps were kind of weird.

They didn't just skip a lot but also changed who wins the fights. Manhwa spoiler: In the manhwa Mori loses against Ilpyo and Mira is the one who beats Ilpyo. The anime cut out Daewi's charyeok even tought we see the little guy (Haetae) before the fights end.

GREAT MANHWA. Anime is good with cool animation but the pacing is very fucked. Would be good to watch if you wanted some action tho

I was enjoying The God of High School but i think story is irrelevant. Fights and character interactions were cool. Reasons to fight were not. Opening and ending are really memorable to me. Probably top 5 of year to me. If chorus is played i would get them correct in quizzes.

while i enjoyed the show, it has a serious pacing problem. the first part of is decent but then it gets seriously rushed and disorienting. it would have been good if they could have taken it slower but unfortunately ended up just being kinda mediocre.
