I still find it hilarious how you can use the riot suppresser on thugs but once they are unconscious then you can just blast the hell out of them with the main gun
GachaXtreme Jason knows that even if he train them properly Batman would still have brought them down like he did. They were merely muscle like any other thug in the game.
@@LegKickLiamMMA I think Kevin Conroy is an excellent batman. I mean if you disagree, you can at least give him credit for bring original and not a VideoGameDunkey rip off.
I have no idea how the game looks so good. It feels like it will never be outdated when it comes to graphics. Animations, sound, cape physics were all next level. It's especially funny since rocksteady previous game was Arkham city which doesn't look nearly as good.
Big groups were always my favorite opponents because of the chains you could make between them. Not only that, but the knock out sound was immensely satisfying.
Did everyone forget that a good actor can just, phone it in every once in a while? Everyone behind the scenes of this game was just done with batman games, and didn't want to make them.
Kevin Conroy is by far the best Batman voice of all time. He is Batman. He's been his voice actor since the original animated series that everyone loved. Don't dis the Conroy
Conroy is probably sick of playing the character. Give someone else a chance. Plenty of good actors have voiced the Bat, but butthurt fans bitch when their lord and savior Conroy doesn't voice the character. I don't like Conroy's voice. Come at me.
+OverPoweredPotato this is true, I mean without the batman gig he wouldn't have a job, that's all he does man. You can dislike his batman all you want, but don't spread dem liesssss
I mean, he isn't wrong where Arkham is concerned. Conroy is Batman, let's get that out of the way. DCAU? Hands down, no one's topping him as long as 90s kids are still alive. But there's a big difference between DCAU and the Arkham series. If I had to guess, it's probably got something to do with how Rocksteady did the voice recording, because I don't think they had the VAs together at all. And half of why all the dialogue worked so well in the DCAU was that all the VAs working and recording together, were able to play their energy off each other. Conroy and Hamill both talk about this in various interviews. For Arkham, they were likely reading in an isolation booth as schedules allowed. You know that story from The Hobbit where Sir Ian breaks down while recording Gandalf's bit at the Dwarves' Dinner, surrounded by green screen and face cutouts? It's gotta be hard to act alone, even if it's just voice acting. Even if it's a character that you basically helped bring to life.
Since people still want to ping me, this video was made in 2016, bout a year after release. Montage reveals the one major plot twist 10 seconds in without warning. If I was spoiled, It would be so tragic. It's basic youtube common courtesy, look at the likes to view ratio so you damn well know I'm not the only one who thought of this. Anything can be spoiled, it doesn't matter how long it has been out for. That's a fact.
@@muhayminpeters4459 Harry Potter came out YEARS ago, Lord of the Rings came out YEARS ago doesnt mean that the 7 billion meatsacks already know all about it. Spoiler alert, if you don't know something and people tell you about it, it's a god damn spoiler. So sick of these comments. It is common courtesy to put a spoiler warning or make it blatantly obvious. Goodbye.
@@imin2461 yes and no. Jason doesn’t want to necessarily BE Batman but he thinks that Bruce is too much of a bitch to do what’s necessary to be the hero he thinks Gotham deserves. He basically wants to kick Bruce out of his position and take over as Gotham’s ruler instead of a protector.
6:04 on console it’s much different and there are different combos and buttons for everything plus those were all normal guys but later you get guys like the machine gunners who will mow you down unless you take them on 1 on 1.
it actually is because those are normal enemies wait till you get to the big dudes, the knife enemies, the ninjas, the stun stick enemies, the riot shield enemies, the gun wielding enemies, the big dudes with two swords, shock gloves, shields, the medics and electric enemies, oh and the baton wielding enemies. Really fucking hard to beat all those if you don’t master the combat
I love how in a part of the game Batman says that he doesn’t kill people but then after you’re through interrogating a riddler person, he just freaking breaks their spine
