Fun Fact: The cat in Marlon Brando's lap was just a stray cat that wandered into the studio. Marlon took a liking to the cat and wanted to pet it on his lap in that scene. Because he's Marlon F___ing Brando, he got to play with a kitty in the movie.

Fun fact that maybe everyone know but i still wanna say: You know the horse head that was in woltz bed well that was an actual horse head that the director got because he wasn't satisfied of the fake horse head so the crew members found a horse that was scheduled to die at a dog-food manufacturer. The scene was filmed when the horse's head arrived, packed in dry ice. So there a small fact that i hope was useful

3:50 The guy who played Luca was an actual enforcer for a new york crime family who was basically "consulting" for the film. He kept forgetting his lines so the directors made his character read from the actual notes, writing it off as the character being nervous around Don Corleone.

Fun fact: Lenny Montana (Luca Brasi, or the fat guy that got stabbed in the hand and strangled to death) was so nervous about working with marlon Brando that in the scene with him and Brando, he misspoke multiple times. Francis Ford Coppola liked the genuine nervousness and kept the original take in the film.

When Ellis island customs got him all they had a was a first name and the town he came from so his legal name is Vito Corleone.
