Wow. This song was actually a great fit for the "Godfather" series. It shows the complicated, question-filled fortune's wheel of a world the Corleones live in.
JokiKana Have you read the book "The Family Corleone"? It's a prequel that fills in the gap between the scene with Vito and toddler Michael on the train, and the beginning of the first movie. It talks mostly about Sonny's joining the business, how Vito first met Luca Brasi, and the family's battle with an Irish gang.
@@daniellemusella1594 oh thank you so much! I read the godfather book and watch all 3. I always wonder if there are more but can’t find prequel or sequel books.
it made me cry!! the story speaks about the unfortunate Corleone family that death hunted all of them and it carried on to Micheal Corleone who never thought he will be in the gang he lost his brother and father and he didn't cry but when he lost his daughter he couldn't bear it any longer and burst with crying like it was bottled up all of his years.
The tragedy of Mary’s murder is that Michael separated Mary from Vincent believing she was safer from their violent world. Had Mary been on Vincent’s arm that night instead of pleading with her father, she probably would have been safe. That’s the whole point. Michael chose to live a very violent life and no matter how cautious he was, innocents often paid the price.
I literally locked myself and cried for an hour after watching the trilogy just beautiful and my personal favourite movie in Hollywood with such a high moral. .. Nothing is constant wealth, love, sorrow, humans, nothing. And so many more lessons.
Such a great edit!! By the way, when Lana sings "Dear God, when I get to heaven please let me bring my man" should have Carmella and Vito, cause of the book, when she explains to Kay the reason why she goes to church everyday (that is, to pray for the Lord to forgive Vito's sins and let him into heaven).
@@yamancerin4200 What most people don't get is the movie was about the father wrestling over the soul of his son,Michael who wanted no part of the "Family". It was only when he told Godfather "I'm with you now" in the hospital the father knew he crossed over . Michael killed all enemies including his brother regardless
Discovered this last year, and I'm still watching it to this day. I love everything about this video. Thank you for making such a masterpiece, and organizing the scenes so perfectly along with Lana's majestic music. ❤️
this was true art. it captured all the beautiful moments of the trilogy and really played with my emotions. the song choice was amazing! my favourite video on youtube.
just realized Michael was really heartless till his daughter was murdered and he knew PAIN. after all he murdered many enemies that were somebodys fathers,brothers...his own brother. How could someone have a happy ending with a life like that? This film is a masterpiece. HOWEVER REMAKES IT IS THE WORLDS BIGGGEST IDIOT.:-))
Such an amazing, amazing video. Watched it at least 10 times in two days. However watching it right now and just watching each scene/clip cut into this video in line with the lyrics what amazing editing! Truly brilliant and hard-work! Well done! Deserves so many more views!
Ooh I thought this was going to be cringey like plastering internet sadcore aesthetic on a classic trilogy but this turned out to be the perfect accompaniment! The series is actually quite tragic, no one comes out they way they get into the family business (or get out at all), and Lana's songs are quite cinematic in nature, so it fits quite well! Everyone thought the family business could make them rich or elevate their status and they could take care of their families, but all it did was tear them apart and many lost their lives. Michael is my favorite character by far, it hurts to see him plunge into the abyss of darkness, over and over again. That was one thing he couldn't control, and it makes you wonder what kind of life he would've lived, if he could be free to live the way he wanted. I think that's something we can all relate to, how many people do you know that don't feel happiness in their lives and had themselves resigned to a fate they didn't want? Great job 🤍
I just finished watching The Godfather, and I’m so glad I stumbled upon this video - it’s absolutely beautiful; Lana + Godfather = Beautiful. Pls continue editing The Godfather!! ❤️❤️
I liked this video so much because it has so many scenes and moments from the 3rd movie. Ok, the 3rd one may not be as good the other movies but still is a very good movie. I've learned to enjoy it more and more as time went by. I like to see it has Coppola said, it was meant to be an epilogue rather than another chapter itself. It that makes sense.
