When i was a kid in the seventies i found this on cassette tape at the library. I listened to it every night at bedtime. I too appreciate vincent price reading this. Thank you for this u tube video...

How wonderful to hear Vincent Price read this story to us. The ones of my age will appreciate his reading. Two greats of the past. As a child Vincent price always gave a scare and I loved his work.

I really love Vincent Price, and his carefully crafted melodrama. He has become one of my all-time favorites. When I was younger I didn't appreciate him as much, because I think I was too into the "monsters". As I got older, his talent became very apparent to me and I pretty rapidly became a huge fan 👍

I love Vincent Price! His movies where always a part of my childhood on vhs 📼 I recently recommended his audio recording to my grandfather. He loves reading but has trouble seeing the pages so has take up audio book. Vincent Price was from his age (1940’s) and he has memories of seeing his films with friends in theaters whenever he came home from the navy! It was wonderful to hear him be so overjoyed whilst recollecting his memories!

That's great to hear! Thanks for sharing your story about your grandfather 😁👍 As I got older, I really started to appreciate Vincent Price and his enormous talent. He can pull off drama, comedy, and over-the-top melodrama with equal aplomb.

Thanks for uploading this. I have been making my way through Edgar Allan Poe's tales. I have pyschially read this but wanted to listen to let it sink in.
