January 16th 2015 i quit my real job to become my own boss reselling full time. best thing i ever did. i used to go in my local goodwill ever day and get a cart full of stuff to resale, would make crazy money on stuff. i noticed a few years ago after countless fake youtube hauls with inflated fake sale prices and numerous facbook pages with people bragging about stuff they found that my business was about to change for the worse. luckily i adapted and changed my business plan. i used to spend a lot of money at goodwill, ive spent 16 bucks there all year. i dont even go anymore bc the prices are insane.
Yeah man I agree even we played a role in the craze for sure with some of our videos but people straight up fake finds and it's ridiculous. Just don't believe everything thats going on online. We also just keep changing our business all the time and thats really the only way to make a living is to transition when needed.
@@tuckandsammie been watching you guys since you saved sammie from the hurricane many years ago but i dont think ive ever left a comment. shoes used to be 4.99 no matter what they were at my goodwills, now the cheapest is 9.99 and ive seen some high as 69.99. i was at a goodwill last year and they had a snowboard on the floor for 2200 bucks, i asked a employee if that was a mistake and she said no that it was 2200. stuff that used to be 1.99 is now 9.99 here. its crazy, all the good stuff goes to goodwills online auction but the crap they put in the store is way overpriced even if your not buying to resell.
Seems to me Goodwill is under the pretense they are a name brand store. Guess the thrift stores want in on the crazy pricing out there. One thing I won't do is donate to these stores anymore. Church donations and homeless shelters is the way to go.
Goodwill is a BIG business. They used to be a Thrift Store but over the past few years they got the idea that they could be a Boutique! The items they have for sale were Donated but they want to sell them for the same price as a high-end store.
So true, and use volunteers to clean and sell it. I get very vocal about prices and not paying staff. Like the manager gets paid to bark orders, the workers get nothing.
We had some Goodwill Boutiques here in Portland Oregon. Closed during the pandemic. One became a Poler outdoor apparel shop on trendy/tourist/ Hawthorne Street.
To and extend yeah but it's mostly the greed of goodwill and other corporate stores. That's why I put "but we're okay with it" because we personally haven't really made money thrift stores ever so it doesn't really effect we are just sharing our opinions on our RU-vid channel.
Goodwill prices have risen so much in my area. That's so outrageous for things they get for FREE. Donate to Salvation Army because they do so much more good than Goodwill does. I now call them Greedywill. I knew someone who worked at Goodwill and hadn't had a raise in 8 years. Sickening. She has since quit. She knew the regulars by name. Such a sweetheart. Greedywill lost a good one.
Trifting is totally over. Not only is thrifting over but antiques are over. Ive been doing Antique trade shows for over 15yrs and now you can't give the stuff away. 😒
They sell their better stuff on eBay, that's why. They're greedy. The upper people get paid ridiculous amounts. My dad knew the head guy many years ago. That's when they were still reasonable. He would be sick to see what they're doing today. In fact my sister did a portrait of him many years ago, an oil painting. He loved it & had it hanging in his office. IDK where it's at now.
Unfortunately they take advantage of supply and demand. Resellers run the price up because goodwill sees that they buy cheap and resell high. It leaves the people that actually need the low prices unable to afford anything.
People that need clothes for cheap can just go to Walmart. Stop acting like you can't get stuff dirt cheap at Walmart. Goodwill was NEVER about selling cheap clothes to needy people. You don't know what you're talking about. Goodwill has always been about selling donated items to then use the money they make toward programs for the less fortunate and also to create jobs.
@@brian4180 okay whatever. Thrift stores are for people to get inexpensive clothes. People with limited incomes were able to get clothes cheaper there. You’re saying that people need to go to Walmart to buy cheap clothes ? That’s ridiculous.
This reminds me of when I would go to flea markets in the early 80's and find all kinds of antique treasures. Now, they're called "Antique Malls" and everything cost a fortune. I really miss the old flea markets, where you could go digging around and find really cool stuff.
Once upon a time, a long time ago, before you kiddies were born, the donation center businesses realized the antique furniture was being bought by sellers and the buyers were making big $. That was the beginning of the end. So they got hip to it and the good antiques never show up anymore. They never thought about the clothes category. But eventually they did. The realized everything in every category, now needs to be looked up on eBay before it gets to the floor. A lot of donations never make it to the floor. The stores are finding other avenues than the store to sell the good stuff. They could care less about the reseller. When t-shirts went from $0.99 or $1.99 to $7.99 or $9.99 at Salvation Army, I said to myself, "that's it, it's all over". The charity is over, time to pay the big overhead and take care of #1. Inevitable, the reseller had lots of good years, but thrifts got hip to it, as they should over time. They finally caught up. 😊. YEW!
Honey as soon as all you RU-vidr started posting your Thrift finds it ruined it for everyone... Goodwill raised. Their prices immediately ..they don't want people making a profit from buying from their store... it's sad but true you RU-vidrs never posted your Thrift finds these prices would have never skyrocketed
That’s only because people have watched you Thrifting in the stores and they know the value now. When I had to go into subsidize housing and was trying to get furniture to sit on or sleep on for my children and me and the prices were out rages at Goodwill at Salvation Army I couldn’t find anything so I went to a church thrift store, and I found what I needed and they also delivered it for me., after I left there and moved into my home I gave my furniture my pots and pans my plate everything I gave all of it away. I didn’t charge anybody a dime because I knew what I went through just fine what I needed to survive.
It’s exactly the same in England unfortunately. Most of the thrift stores here have started filtering off anything that is vintage or possibly of quality, including even scrap costume jewellery, at the point of donation, leaving the shelves full of absolute rubbish (and overpriced). They have also become outlets for massive fast fashion companies to sell their overstock and last seasons clothes, while taking a share of the sale price. It’s a shame and also worrying, as thrift stores are often the only shops keeping some English towns alive - if they close it’ll be an island of ghost towns. Also, we’re not exactly sure where all the money goes....often it’s on executive salaries and lawsuits.
Here in Canada it is the same. I think what happened is Covid forced a lot of people to try to make alternative sources of income and many started thrifting and flipping and the amount of sellers saturated the market. It sucks!
Goodwill has always been expensive here. I won’t waste my time going there. I watch a lot of RU-vid Thrift videos and they have NO PROBLEMS finding cheap items.
Well I understand Wat you were saying but it was great to see Sammie and Finn in the video more than usual.not that we don't like seeing you Tucker its always great to see all of you
I volunteer at a thrift store and we still have vintage and good stuff for reasonable. There are not many stores like us left. Prices are nuts at Goodwill for junk
It will never be over and the thrill of the hunt is always there just hard to find really good stuff when a lot of big thrift stores pull it before it even hits the floor.
@@tuckandsammie Over here in UK majority of the good stuff ends up on the charity's eBay store plus they use other platforms too. I have found good stuff but its much harder that it ever has been for sure. There's so much reselling content nowerdays the charity's have caught on . I agree tho some prices that you see is insane seen a RL tee the other week £25 used faded i had to laugh with inflation cost of living who's gunna pay £25 for used faded RL its nuts
I agree with the prices at Goodwill they are absolutely ridiculous with their pricing,I went to 2 of them today and was totally shock and pissed at the same time!! It's like come on now you are getting this shit for free and then charging Walmart prices!! I think everyone should boycott Goodwill and start donating at different thrift stores until they come down on their prices!!
Goodwill has been doing this since certain influencers showed off their Goodwill hauls and the high prices they sold the stuff for. It sucks because people in need cant afford to shop there anymore. But yard sales are great. People want to offload that stuff.
@@shannon_w. I see y'all are focused on Goodwill going up and yard sales going up in prices, but everything has drastically risen. I'm sure Goodwill's rent has skyrocketed along with their overhead. We are witnessing hyper-inflation at it's core meaning. BTW, even if you had the goods, all of the online marketplaces such as eBay, Etsy, and Amazon are screwing their sellers with fees and promoting(sponsoring, boosting). Same with all the shipping carriers. Same with Uncle Sam wanting you to report sales and sales tax across state lines. You've go everyone's hands in your pockets.
What I found recently is that instead of finding 10, 20, or even 50 items in one spot (Goodwill), you’re finding two, three, or four, which forces you to put more gas in the tank and hit more spots.
We stopped there today and heard a lot of complaints about the prices too! They’ve been raising them repeatedly and as you saw somewhat indiscriminately. I still find great stuff from time to time, but definitely not as fun as it used to be. I’ve started avoiding anything that does not have the colors of the week and we go less frequently. I love WN also!
Yeah still worth trying and there's some finds but goodwill will even pull stuff before it even makes it to the floor of it's good enough and the stuff they do sell is basically same price as new clothes.
I agree the prices are crazy, I went to a yard sale today and all the clothes were $5.00 and up. I sell my clothes for .50 or $1.00.. Glass ware that I sell for $1.00 or less was $6.00.. Yard sale items should be things you don't want not things you are looking to set up a store. I find, if I over price items then I'm having to pack them back up when the sale is over.
We have not adjusted to the new prices for new merchandise. So all prices are shocking. We are annoyed at the prices in thrift stores but in times things will settle down and thrift stores will have to beat new merchandise prices to stay in the game. If the customers are reluctant to pay their prices they will have to re-think their strategy.
I go thrifting mostly for myself. I don't resell. I've purchased a nice collection of vintage Ralph Lauren single stitch tees. I like them because they're really soft 100% cotton. I've also found some really nice longer designer brand cardigan sweaters. I hate polyester or polyester blend. Outside of those I just buy whatever screams buy me when I need some clothes and get in the mood of cleaning old stuff out of the closet I don't wear anymore. I'd rather go thrifting most of the time than the mall. A long sweater in new condition I purchased for $6.99 and brand new would have been $50. I have noticed the past 2 years the thrift store's prices have dramatically increased. Sounds like this is happening everywhere. The sad part is the increases hurt the poorer communities that can't afford paying high prices to put clothes on their backs and clothe their children. IMHO, if people stop buying at thrift stores maybe when they lose business they'll stop increasing prices.
Preach it, say it, Clare it, you're telling the truth the thrift stores have gotten way way too expensive... I enjoy this into your point of view, keep living the life
I like your sweatshirt. I've never been in a goodwill before. I do give clothes and stuff away, but not to them or the salvation army. I give to the rescue mission.
@@shannon_w. No, we straight up had a monetary quota in the item pricing department. I remember that, because we sent a lot of stuff to the online department, and that stuff didn't count. Cashiers had the quota too, but it wasn't enforced.
I do think there are a lot more people thrifting for a variety of reasons. And that will always be a good thing. I buy second hand whenever possible for our planet. The price of everything has increased including second hand stuff. Because there are so many resellers it is not as easy to find items to flip. However, everyone still has soooo much shit that there is still plenty to go around. And so many clothes still end up in the landfill. One other thing, Goodwill sells goods to fund their programs that help people to work, so they price at whatever the market will bear. They are not there to give people cheap stuff. And because the market is hot their prices have gotten higher. The hunt may be a little more challenging but you just pointed to a bunch of different ways to still get vintage goods. The times they are a changin!
So sad that Goodwill CEO only cares to line his pocket and not really help the community, we have a good thrift store here where I live that helps the community but it caught on fire last week, trying to raisse money to rebulid
I live in St. Paul, MN and the Goodwill here is also absolutely ridiculous. I always see brand new items with the tags on and the Goodwill price is more than the original price. Ridiculous.
Maybe for vintage clothing, thrifting is on life support, but for other items like vintage glassware, toys, games, appliances, furniture, art, x-mas ornaments, recorded media (VHS, tape, CD, record), etc., the scene still has plenty of life in it.
Myself too have ventured into different niches and learnt to pick up different items. Majority of my stock comes from Car Boot sales we call them here in UK its where the better margins are for ROI
Well, my dear friend Sean has been buying and selling since the 1990’s. I saw him a couple days ago. He said he is shopping Goodwill on line and scoring gold with Barbie dolls and other gems. They don’t always know what they have, but he does, so he is making it work. He bought an original Native American style doll. He added a beaded necklace and cha-Ching! Times they are a changing.
Omg the movie Annie! Epic I totally want that with the Annie vinyl soundtrack please please please 🙏 ❤❤ I used to watch that movie over and over as a kid!!! Holy the Bart is gold! That was sweet!!
I don’t go to Goodwill anymore.. I agree that the golden era is over. There’s still certain ones that you may score. It’s been about knowing what’s trending, hot new brand, knowing about something they don’t. But it’s increasingly tough. I’ve been moving more and more online to source. For example, I bought that red HD tank in the video(it’s amazing btw, I love it! 😍). A fair price that I know I wouldn’t get at goodwill. Wouldn’t even find it there! But I love the hunt in person too. Y’all are awesome thanks for addressing this. 😊
The Goodwills around me are the worst. $8 for tshirts, and all they are for is corporate junk or someone’s middle school soccer team. They sell Dollar Tree stuff for $1.99. I mean just stop. It’s just greed.
Nice Social Distortion shirt! Good band 😃 Didn't know there was ever a "golden era" of thrifting. John Waters used to talk about finding all 1950's stuff in the 70's. I started in the 1990s and there was no 1950s stuff. I never found anything life changing in about 30 years of thrifting. Only found 1 killer 1980's BMX bike. Never found a good guitar or amp. Used to go to Goodwill, Goodwill Bins, Salvation Army, Value Village as far as thrift stores in our town. Back in the 1990s we'd read the newspaper and go to estate sales on the weekend. That was fun. I also only found 1 "Big E" Levi's jacket, which I still have in all those years, paid $6.99 on the rack about 20 years ago.
I totally agree. I used to thrift for my grad kids but the $$$ is to HIGH. I even go on days that they have sales but even then the cost is to high. What a stinking shame. So back to yard sales.
I'm Australian and we are finding the same at the thrift stores Getting expensive So anyways my daughter inlaw is in a paid position at a big thrift store over here, and I talked to her about this same subject.. and her answer was.. there is so much a demand now for these kind of places to help families and communities with food money and help pay electricity bills and what other else bills and its like never b4 have they been asked to help and also the shop they are in has to pay rent and utilities themselves and all that has gone up.. It's like everything even for the thrift has gone up... In my opinion tho , if they had items at a lower price, they would sell more... I don't know the answer... but its not as simple as they just over charge.. Xlove you guys
Good on you Tucker for taking about this, it's become a huge problem, I have been thrifting for over 35 years, it's now impossible to find a bargain even if you weren't resaleing and were shopping there out of necessity it's unaffordable ,why can't poor people own nice things, it's now become a popular activity for wealthy people to shop at these stores, sham on the stores to go this way, they have become gready and have lost their way, I recently tried to get some help with some food from one of these organizations only to be turned away, these stores have made the gap between the rich and poor even bigger, sham on them.
Well I live in the same area as you guys so I see the same thing as you. These thrift stores are forgetting what they are, a thrift store! I used to shop there out of necessity for myself and my kids. I could get a whole wardrobe for myself for like $100 not anymore though. Yard sales also used to be fun but now people are pricing up yard sales and you have to get there when it starts or the resellers get the decent stuff. I love how honest and real you two are about this situation. Most reseller videos you go on if you DARE say that resellers are why a lot of the good stuff gets bought up fast or the prices have gone up because of them well let's just say that you will get attacked in the comment section and they will all say "there is still a lot of stuff left" well yeah but it is the left overs that few people want. Some resellers that do videos at Goodwill will say what an item costs and what they will hopefully get for it. I also feel that, that is misleading for smaller resellers because those RU-vidrs are going to make more and sell it quicker because they have a following who will buy their stuff. Sorry to rant on but this situation irks me and I can't say how I feel on other channels because instead of people owning up to it they will just deny it and attack anyone who speaks the truth.
Yes Tucker and Sammie, your right. We noticed they started to jack up prices about a year and a half ago. There was one good will that had good prices, but in the last month they started to jack there prices up. Now if your lucky and they don't google scan or can't find it you might get it cheaper. I think the went woke.
Tucker and Sammie, y’all ain’t telling nothing but the truth! Thrift stores are getting OUTRAGEOUS! Good will bring #1! And just like you said, the “mom and pop” shops haven’t upped their prices. I LOVE thrifting but the prices are putting a damper on finding “gold”! You can go to the retail stores for just a few dollars more. I’m still gonna look. I don’t have to spend that money!💕
Totally agree with your thoughts on Goodwill and Salvation Army stores. In my town, we used to have 4 or 5 Salvation Army stores. The last one closed a few months ago. Most of the private thrift stores here have increased their prices. Very little profit to be made any longer with any of the thrift stores.
Stop acting like that's the case. Have you ever heard of Walmart? Anyone can get BRAND NEW items for dirt cheap there. The "less fortunate" are not shopping for the same items resellers are looking for. Quit with the pearl clutching.
the Goodwill has full shelves. I couldn't imagine why. They need a reality check. Making all this money and they still treat their employees like crap.
I agree with you guys. I live in Indiana and our Goodwill's and salvation armies are ridiculous too! I have said same thing you guys have when gone into them places. Just ridiculous! There is a Goodwill in Sturgis Michigan that we go to and they are pretty decent on most of their stuff plus they also have brand new stuff too. I like the store. Anyway Love you guys Finally is getting so big and so adorable!!! Love the kitchen also!! Looks awesome 👍. You guys are amazing 😍. Have a safe and happy fourth of July!!!🇺🇸🎉🎊
I hear what your saying Tucker! I realized this very fact in my area too!!! You have to take different route in order to continue the dream of finding great deals other places!!!
Savers in my area is getting outrageous with prices. I rarely shop there any more. I used to get all my clothes there. I love the pink button down Mickey/popsicle shirt the best.
I have been a reseller for 25 years business has changed dramatically but you have to roll with the changes nothing stays the same forever Antiques are dead because most of the collectors are dead Sneakers have more value than antiques
My Mom is in her eighties and works at a thrift store that help cats and dogs. They have great stuff and sales . So maybe find thrift stores that are off the beaten path. The store is paws and claws.
I can agree. I used to find vintage 80’s and 90’s, puffy padded sleeves button ups and puffy old school prom like dresses. Can’t find that anymore in my area unless I go to an over priced retro store.
I call the GoodWill the Ill Will. Anything good gets picked out and sent to the on-line store, and all the stores get are the leftovers. And Target pallets that they apparently purchase. Goodwill blocks out the poor and disadvantaged with their prices, the very people they claim to help. (hah!) My favorite church thrift closed down for good because of Covid, and one medical center thrift did too. A nonprofit locally has a chain of four thrifts, and you can score but only if you know what you're doing. They tend not to have many Ts, if any; I think they turf them all out to $penders, who price them into the stratosphere. My church used to have a center where they gave stuff away, but COVID closed that entirely too. There's one Sally that's sort of close, but it's small and gets picked FAST. The jewelry is always just junk and there isn't a vintage piece of clothing to be seen. OTOH I scored two (size Small, darnit!) authentic James Taylor 1982 concert Ts at an otherwise dead neighborhood tag sale... for $1 for both. Definitely worn but ...Bingo. That said, I spent $6 for everything I found and spent $5 just for gas. I'd say reselling clothes for money overall is dying. If you do it, better diversify now.
From Singapore 🇸🇬. I really think you have nailed it!!..Thank you for showing how thrifting is being destroyed...at the fundamental level..and it's sad!!. Thrifting is a great way to live life with a good conscience...Most clothes and stuff we buy..we do not use it to their full " expiry"...in the same note it takes a conviction to choose to live with minimal possessions..and be practical. Yet organizations like Salvation Army which step in to do the charity we all need by receiving donations of stuff that others can use. But some where down the line..in the last few years..PRICING is destroying the whole environment and mission if these thrift shops..the importance of their existence just by unrealistic pricing. I once saw a lady asking the price of used shoes..that looked alright but certainly used...the thrift shop assistant said it should be $30...when a new pair like that would not be more than $10...I do not want to undermine these organisation's..with staff costs..rent etc..But first and foremost the organisation's must doa rethink on why they started in this journey to provide thrift shops from donated items..Help the needy with their purchases..an alternative to expensive department store pricing...but look at what the thrift shop system has come to...its not practical..sensible..to price these items high. I have visited the Salvation Army shop nearby and the thing is culturally thrifting is not widely practiced in this part of the world..while people donate their stuff but not many buy used items..Anyway the store smells musty and some items placed for sale have been sitting there dor years!!..Yes..if it's furniture etc..like wooden good pieces..it's ok I guess..but there are n9n functional phones and cameras and stuff that are not on working condition..THI makes the store a no- go for people after one visit..So I think getting rid of items by selling it for low prices make great sense..it saves space and at the same time attracts more people with a greater turnover..and it would be better managed and make people more thrift friendly as well...Donated items being sold to the needy for like $5 makes good sense from the charity perspective...encourage thrifting...attract more people to donate as well..and make the whole mechanism SENSIBLE!!..SO I guess pricing people need to get their heads back into the motivation and sense of the thrift store and its existence!!! Go figure!!
Yesterday when I was at the Goodwill store in York PA, I witnessed the manager sitting in a chair by the register and checking prices using his cell phone and google lens, I’m assuming to see what things are going for online so they can jack prices up.
Hi guys! You are spot on! The thrift stores are nuts now with the pricing, I can get same stuff in better shape on clearance, I used to find lots of clothing for myself, it's definitely changing, I think it's because it's trendy to thrift now. I only go on sr.dicount days or half price days now...still enjoy it but they're definitely getting greedy, especially Goodwill, and the only one that's non profit is Salvation Army, anyway thanks for your wonderful, and entertaining videos, it's a joy to see you with little Fin, she's a doll! 💗 Keep up your great work!
I am just south of San Diego and our Goodwill has really high prices. Luckily they are on a main road that has 4 other thrift shops - within 3 miles. I only go there every 6 months or so to look for DVD's not in my inventory (230+). I have a hunch the folks that work there have ways of filtering the good stuff.
Goodwill has been highly overpriced for years and years. I stopped shopping there a looong time ago. I love my local thrift stores. But even the hospice thrift stores are rising... But the furniture though. You can't beat it, solid wood, vintage sometimes antique pieces at great prices especially on 50% off furniture days. 😊 But my favorite will always be salvation army, especially Wednesday when the whole store is 50% off and I love how clean and organized it always is. The clothes are always hung by color 😊 another Great video family. Thank you and stay blessed. ✌️❤️🙏
I shop at Savers quite a bit, but I buy a whole lot less than I used to. You now have to pay three times as much as 5yrs ago. They used to have a .99 cent day that they got rid of too. Thrifting sure isn't what it used to be.....p.s....I love you guys...kiss that baby for me.
I live in Alberta Canada, the prices in the thrift stores have tripled in the last two years. You might as well go to Walmart and at least get it new for the same price. And even sometimes lower. Even dollar tree items that are sold in the store for 1.50 the thrift stores have it priced for 2.99. And they claim to donate to good causes. In the past lower income people would shop the thrift store and be able to afford stuff. Now not anymore
The 90's were fantastic for thrifting, but I agree the last 5-10-15 years has gone downhill for sure. Saturated is the word I guess. Good to see y'all again, thanks
Well I was a single mother of two in the 70's /80's and I shopped at the thrift stores because it was what I could afford to keep my children clothed, kinda blows my mind that it became a place to find treasures at different times....
Tucker I thrift shop 4 to 5 times a week. I have seen prices go up so high. I have a collection of Starbucks mugs , I use to get them for 99 cents now they are $5 bucks or more. I don’t pick them up anymore unless it is priced for$3 or less. I agree with you and Sami
Love your guys videos! You are absolutely correct about the higher goodwill prices. It’s even worse than that….they hold back all scarce & rare items and sell them auction style on their national web site….if that’s not bad enough, many goodwill sites have their own eBay page and sell on there. And you wonder why the quality of their items is decreasing? There is your answer!
One more thing Walmart of all places has like 29- 32 dollar dresses! Can you believe that? I never go there except for to get toiletries and staples that's it because that store FREAKS ME OUT.
I agree, here in Indiana we have slowed down on going to Goodwill because of pricing! We go to our Senior Citizen thrift store. All clothes are 25 cents! Thanks for bringing this problem , front and center! Hi baby bean!
You are right Tucker, about Urban outffitters stealing designs...they also have been in the news several times for stealing designs from independent artists!!! Terrible!!!!
I saw an item at GW that was in the back and I asked to see it and was told that it was going to be listed on their web site at an online price (whatever that means) Can't find anything that isn't listed at an Ebay price!
Yeah or they make it a boutique item. I know certain goodwills still have low prices but not around here. If they are selling items 4-5 times higher then we do at our yard sale then there's a problem.
I agree about goodwill pricing, however. It DOES depend where you are located. I watch alot of thrifting videos and most stores are priced much higher than those around me. Also, if you are hunting for just vintage t-shirts thrifting is probably not the way anymore. Thrifting regular clothing for resale is still good especially shopping on sale days which is what I do, and smaller community thrift stores as well
I told you guys what to do over the years? I'm trying to be negative, but, Tucker, you got to build relationships with all types of business people! What happened to the shoe haul in AC in Oct? What happened to that Thrift store in Monmouth County with these skate boards? Maybe you know this already and need content for the YTC? And then I understand. But man I put a free ad on a North Palm Beach, Palm Beach telling people I'm disabled and sell on eBay and need stuff and people come and give me free junk to sell. They drive to my home and leave it!
Literally just explaining situations as we experience and see them. We have never really made money off buying and selling from thrift stores anyways but it is crazy to see the escalation of pricing and quality of goods over the last 5 years change so much ! There's lots of placing to get gold but goodwill is no longer one of them.
@@tuckandsammie I know what you mean ~ Maybe I'm disappointed about people over the years do not take one word of advice from me? Yes, I make a good living, but if I was not disabled, I would be a $1,000,000,000!
