Her staff loves her. She held on signing the renewal of her contract with her agency until they agreed to better pay and working conditions for her team. Every time that she finishes the promotions for a new record, she pays for a vacation for her whole team. She also has sung at the weddings of her dancers, managers, stylists, etc.
Good to see I’m not the only one who gets emotional every time I see her. She is one of a kind. Inspirational for sure. Can’t wait to see her live in July :)
At 9:33 Jay Park saying 'top hip-hop artist in Korea' is a running gag. IU was once filmed scrolling the internet where she discovered to her surprise she was at the top of the hip-hop charts that day. Ever since she's ironically called herself Korea's top hip-hop artist.
I love your reaction. Thank you for supporting IU. This was me when I watched this video. I'm so proud of IU. I've been a full-pledge UAENA for 16 years already. I have been supporting her for more than half of my life now, and for me, IU is the most genuine person. I will support her until my last breath.
Thank you for reacting to these two vids, I really enjoyed it. It made all her fans emotional too watching it. IUtV is fun to watch. I also recommend her 3 part series when she came to America with her brother recently. It really shows more of her playful personality & she’s more relaxed compared to the bts of her Golden Hour concert, in which her ear problem was bothering her. The vids to her U.S. visit start with “Shopper ‘A business trip to the United States With bro,” the 2nd vid has a thumbnail of her at In-n-out (title is in Korean) and the 3rd last video, which is my favorite is titled, “Buying a birthday present for my little brother vlog.”
I'm so stressed about ticketing in Europe... Why is it so late???? Thank you as always: watching IU is always inspiring and makes you wish to be a better person ❤️
I don’t watch many shows, but I know that some or many artists are very arrogant. IU is one of the few famous artists with a huge and loyal fan base, and she knows how to manage her relationship with her fans very well. Both in terms of marketing and during her shows, she constantly interacts with the audience and shows humility and genuine interest in her fans as people. It’s something very admirable about her.
I don't know for a fact, but I always assumed that 'eight' having the lyrics "under the orange sun" (the theme of this concert) had a connection to dusk/sunset/golden hour. (The latter being the title of the concert) Which would have been around 7, in September, in Korea. And when she started the concert, with that same song. You can catch her bursting out into the chorus of the song, around sunset in more iutv videos.
