fellow content creator here, was it difficult to cross the border from Thailand to Laos? and are the casinos open to all tourists? I'm looking to film there next year

Hello! Thanks for your interest. Please feel free to post another comment here after your video is up and share your findings. From Chiang Saen, Thailand, there is an official border crossing, where you get on a boat after clearing customs. It was easy, but I cannot remember the ticket price. I think no more than 100 RMB, and possible 50 or less. As long as you can get visas for Thailand and Laos fairly easily, crossing should not be difficult. I don't know for sure about the casinos, but I haven't heard of anyone being denied entry based on nationality, though I don't think that you are allowed to film inside the casinos.

I can't remember for certain. I think I saw shops selling phones. I don't recall other electronics stores. Maybe someone else can give you a better answer.
