Hey Anth I remember you posting pics of your broken ankle. This is the best vid clip I have ever seen of a goldie and you can hear the twitter very clearly. I have loved them since 1961. My mobile ringtone is the sound of a goldie and I had the tank badge tattoed on my arm 6 years ago.I am also an area organisor for the goldie club. Hows that for dedication. Oh and there two goldies in my garage. Safe riding mate and thanks for posting that clip.

Do you still have the original GP carb? I guess the Mikuni is more practical though. Sounds like you are running the original RRT2 box with the high 1st gear. I can remember a guy trying to bump start one of these in 1963 in the main street of Newquay in Cornwall where I lived, I don't know if he started it because I lost sight of him! These were the bikes we all aspired to but they were bloody expensive.
