Inspiring and a blessing even for a 54yo Grandpa(Bubba). We have custody of our 5yo grandson who we adore and love. You both have given me a chance to relax and watch some videos, and have brought me back to golf after 16 years. I have laughed..I have learned..and I have listened . Thank you both from a great full new subscriber.
Had two friends who unfortunately took their own lives this week one of them was my golf buddy watching your videos always helps brighten my day! Thanks for everything
love the excitement, don’t love that was just near Pinehurst yesterday but didn’t see this video until this Monday morning. Also sad that i traded in 2 Scratch wedges for not much. Good to know they are being appreciated now. Back to good stuff: Pinehurst Brewing Co is fun spot in Sand Hills area
Hey guys…this is a great video. Roberts Golf is..as you mentioned is a mom and pops kind of place. Robert has done a remarkable job over all these years in operation, and he even takes older irons and cuts them to certain lengths to make matched sets for children. Robert has prided himself for helping children get in to the game of golf by way of making irons to fit them. He has donated countless sets of clubs to Kid Golf as well. I’ve known “Bobby” for many years, played a few rounds with hi and enjoy hearing his golf stories. I was there recently and he showed me a picture of himself (Robert) along with other teen aged kids walking to the driving range (nicknamed Maniac Hill) with my dad and a few other leaders of Pinehurst Country Club. Anyhow, thanks for posting this video and showing a comparison between and major chain sporting goods store and a mom and pops store. It me up next time you’re in the area..Rick Tufts.
I recently found a Ben Hogan/ Bettinardi Baby Ben putter in a local pawn shop. Walked out with it for $5! Thanks for sharing your club and negotiating skills with us!
As some one who has a pretty decent collection I would love to see a full collection video! I know it would be long, but worth it in my opinion! Love the content!!
Like a kid in a candy store.... Jon in a golf store is definitely the same thing! Finding unusual clubs at Pinehurst shouldn't be a surprise with all the courses in the area and the previous US Open's there!!! Great club finds for you both. Glad you had a safe and fun trip. Love the channel.
The knowledge you have on golf equipment and shoes is simply amazing. Your videos are the only ones my wife will watch with me that is golf related. She absolutely love you guys. keep up the great work. If you ever make it up to Maine you need to reach out. We would love to take you two out for dinner.
As my mom would say, “How do you remember all this random stuff?” The amount of knowledge he has about golf clubs / brands throughout the years is unbelievable.
Great finds per usual!! I have never seen a Bettenardi putter like that one! Enjoy your trip and we hope to see you guys out on the course playing for a treat!!
John, love your knowledge of all the clubs you guys encounter on your shopping sprees. Ash, love how you putt, you just line em up and sink them. Always look forward to your videos!!!
Always a fun watch with the two of you! And to think that you've only scratched the surface of what your channel is going to be! Stacked Golf to the moon! 🚀
May not have the memory to speak proper English, but the memory of every single golf club that you pick up is astounding! I love all the videos, y’all are awesome.
I have to admit to being envious of all the golf shops with used clubs that you are able to find. Your knowledge of the value of used clubs is quite impressive
I started to play golf 5 months ago,b when I started to play golf I wasn't knowing anything about clubs. Anything I know about clubs it is because of you guys, thank you so much.😁
Great video. I've never even hit one, but always wanted the RAC irons as soon as the ads came out for them, and to see the forged in such beautiful condition! Also enjoyed the cat. Just became a cat guy when we brought home Wumbo 5 weeks ago. He's 3 and a half months old and a wonderful joy to our household.
Been learning a lot of trying to find used clubs. As someone who is just getting back into golf I am happy I found your page. Been fun going through the history and watching. Wish our Dicks and Play it Again stores had even half of what you see
Awesome video! I was looking for a new 3 wood, and found a used Ping i20 for $30 at a local Golf Galaxy in great shape. Wouldn’t have been so attracted to finding deals on used clubs without this channel. Thank you!
thats one of the funniest things ever ...NATURE + cat turns to give a "who are these weirdos calling me nature" look ....pure gold ...you should know most people watch every second just for these little moments of pure joy ...thanks for all the content , love seeing you get so worked up and being so self aware about it all ....and you make a great team :)
Learn something new every episode! Thanks for sharing! Can't believe John hits it so well with no warm-ups. To be young again!!! That Scotty would look great in my bag!!!
I absolutely love you guys I have spent the last 3 days watching nothing but you vids and it has truly got me 100% back into golf I haven't played in a few years since my local course closed here in Ormond Beach Fl I was playing no lie 3 times a week. Well because of you to I took the old set out cleaned them off and played a round today and man thank you so much if I could get that putter I would really put it to use thanks, and by the way you to are an AWESOME COUPLE and anyone could tell yall are absolutely perfect for each other thank you so much
The Truss putter didn’t sell but always appeared to be a good idea. AR golf great too! A must buy for $162. Those Ping becu lob wedges though are made in heaven for my bag! 🎉
That PGA Super Store was amazing...so many used clubs! Mine local PGA Super Store always has lots of second hand putters, but no where near the amount of used sets of irons.
Love your videos, and your knowledge is very vast. I didn’t know anything about golf clubs until I started watching your channel. It’s been a lot of fun. I enjoy it. I’ve got a lot of my buddies buying clubs. Thanks for the help cheers
I am enjoying your road trip. I have learned so much about golf clubs through all your videos. Jon, you are an encyclopidia of golf and Ash, you are catching up!
Quality video (as usual)! I am learning so much from you! Not a lot of golf shopping opportunities in my area, so it's nice I can tag along with y'all! Cheers!
Robert's is definitely a local treasure here in the "Home of American Golf" and Bob is a great guy. Let us know next time you are in town and we'll point you towards some local favorite places to eat.
I enjoy your videos so much! You are both just joy. Love it~ Your knowledge is phenomenal too. Thanks for making finding golf clubs fun and giving us ideas on where to look and what to look for!
I wish I could look around all these shops for clubs like y’all but thanks for the info on all the different clubs and keep up the great content as usual.
I started going to the goodwill and thrift store looking for clubs because of your videos, found a couple really good ones to practice with and sold the rest. Found some great putters for the putting green i built on the side of my house. Love your knowledge of clubs and content.
Love the videos! I live in central PA, unfortunately thrifting for clubs is the slimmest of pickins...but just learned today we're getting our first Golf Galaxy!
Now, I can't pass up a Goodwill or Dick's Sporting Goods and find myself scouting garage sales for clubs. Did pick up a "like new" set of Adam's Blue irons with the 3&4 hybrids in a Calloway hoofer bag at Goodwill for $34.95. Giving them to my son-in-law who's going getting started. Thanks for your channel!
Amazing to think about the sheer amount of used golf equipmemnt which is out there! You really have to wonder about the difference in performance for amateur players versus the cost of buying new versus used!
Excelente, I watch you from Guatemala all the time. If golf was as big as it's over there I would be doing something similar just for the heck of it. Thanks for the content!
