The Good Goose 

Some say that ennui is inevitable in heaven. That without adversity people would grow bored with an eternal existence. These villagers chose a peaceful heaven reminiscent of their old life, but God in his wisdom granted them a goose, to give them just enough adversity to make their eternity worthwhile. They may not be consciously aware of their true existence; but deep in the hidden part of their mind, the part that knows that this is their eternity, they're forever grateful for this goose's antics.

I love the part when Jerma is harassing the kid, but as soon as he falls he lets out an audible gasp. this is when goose Jeremy still had a tiny bit of humanity still inside him.
