This wastefully short clip from ITV's short lived nostalgia driven show 'That's What I Call Television' reunited Felicity Kendal & Richard Briers in a mock up Good Life kitchen.
The crime here is that they got these 2 back together for just 2 minutes of fluff, and not an hour long special!

I got the DVD box set for my 16th a couple years back. It is one of, if not, my favourite tv series. Never fails to make me laugh, the casting was perfect. Wouldn’t have been the same any other way.

The Good Life (aka The Good Neighbors in the US) was my first introduction to British sitcoms in the late 70s.

Just re-watching The Good Life at the moment. I was too young to have seen the original release but I grew up watching the re-runs and it has a special place in my childhood memories. A true British TV great ❤️

it's hardly surprising Felicity, Richard, Paul, and Penny remained lifelong friends. All of whom were fairly, in personal lives, opposites of their on-screen personas. Which made them enjoy the work and each other all the more.

@@synthonaplinth5980 Apparently her horse collapsed under her weight at the Riding Club, and her jodhpurs burst open as they loaded her into the ambulance. She was never seen in Surbiton again.
