Thanks for giving us some background on your Best Man Sam, his wife and their precious daughter! That was a side of you I don’t think many of us knew. When Tom was like, “the best thing that happened to me in 2017 was marrying the love of my life” I DIED!!! And the best part was when he pointed to Trump for the “ugly” and said he didn’t want to “give him more airtime than he deserves” and it’s so true!!!!!! Have an amazing 2018 everybody!!!

You and Lance have been a tremendous inspiration for me this past year and I consider us all lucky to be able to share the planet with you. I know it’ll be a tall order for your 2018 to out do your 2017, with all your personal and professional highs - When We Rise, your beautiful wedding, the FINA World Championship gold, etc. - but, I hope your 2018 shines even brighter & exceeds all expectations! Here’s to continuous success in all your ventures, be it diving, RU-vid, your books, or whatever else you try your hand at. Okay, two things: first, I just want to make the observation that your skin looks so nice when it is not tanned, so cute! And second, it was hilarious when you commented that now you are officially more educated than Lance, and then Lance sounds off in the background - haha! Tom you always make the best videos, and I found myself grinning at the screen when you grinned - your smile is that contagious! So happy that you had so many personal and professional (and academic!) successes in 2017, and may 2018 bring you and Lance health and happiness. I hope you two have a kid one day - Lance would be such a grouchy but loving and protective dad, and you'd just spoil them rotten and be in stitches at their antics. Oh that's nice to know. I watched Lance's BBC Hard Talk interview the other day and felt like giving him an ovation - he had this great line about needing to remember the 'coalition of the us-ses' and how any minority on its own is so vulnerable, that we all need to show up for each other. Between him and Tom they're a great example for younger/closeted members of the LGBT community. That said, I would hate for the fact that they're beacons to inhibit them from being able to express the ups and downs of their relationship or in otherwise be like any other couple. I like that Lance seems a little grouchy - it makes it more real than NPH and David Burtka, another 'beacon' couple.

madsmebc they both said that they not perfect couple but that how its should be. Lance is very emotional guy way more then Tom, but in videos we dont see that. What i love that they just live their life like any normal couple and dont pretend they are perfect. They not afraid to say that they fight and disagree
