Ha! I’m days away from 72 yrs! When I was a kid I thought 72 was ancient and one would be in a nursing home rocking chair by that age. Reality now is I started my reselling gig last year and I am going strong! 😊
Always wanted to be a teacher and that's exactly what I have been doing for the past 30 years. Retiring this year and plan on building my ebay business more. Looking forward to the next chapter of my life. :)
I went with the generic marine biologist dream, but I'm afraid of the ocean. Being a cardiac nurse and part time reseller has been a better fit! Great finds at the bins❣️
I always wanted to be a pharmacist and planned on being one until at least 70. God had a different plan for me, so I practiced pharmacy for 34 years. After a debilitating injury, now I resell for extra $$. I love the Osbournes podcast. They are so funny and wacky and tell good stories.
When I was a kid I wanted to be a lawyer or archeologist but figured I'd be a teacher. In reality I spent most of my career working for Lorillard Tobacco and now I'm looking forward to retiring in the next 4 years. I'm in Receiving for Restaurant Depot now...
Thank you for another great video! When I was a kid I thought that I will be a teacher. End up going to medical university and became a doctor. Immigrated to the US and became a nurse. Unexpected from my kid point of view.
I wanted to be a school teacher like my grandmother. Changed mind in high school to physical therapist- worked as PT for almost 37 years! Enjoy all your videos and always learn something.
As a child I loved to play fireman , as I grew older I became a firefighter and then a firefighter/ paramedic. I have had a great lifelong career, some close calls, saved many lives, lots of time away from family.
I can't believe the Grateful Dead scores!! When I was growing up I wanted to be a radio DJ. I wanted to be living in a historic mansion but I ened up in a mid century cottage. Lol
When I was a kid I was %100 sure I would be a famous author. I loved Steven King books so much back then! Alas, Husbanding, Dadding, reselling and managing a grocery store is the way of life now!
When I was really young I thought I would be a teacher, and i always like Archaeology too, and did think about that. When i was a teenager I thought maybe an artist, but now work in a factory waiting to retire in a few years. Thrifting is kind of like archaeology because you find treasures. Lol
When I was a child, I thought I was going to be a teacher and as a teenager I thought I'd be a photographer. Highly recommend The Compound Effect if you haven't read or listened to it yet.
I thought I would be a retired RN and I am retired and I was an RN. However, after 10 years I quit nursing went back to school got a degree in accounting and retired as a corporate financial analyst.
Phil Lesh is one of the original founders of the Grateful Dead..and one of the remaining survivors. A music savant Lesh played mostly Bass guitar for the Dead and has been in multiple bands since. Great Find!!
I had no idea what I was going to be doing when I was a kid, but it definitely wasn’t being a mom and grandmother! In fact, I swore I wasnt having kids…. Well… I had 3, all grown now, homeschooled last 2, and now I have 2 grandkids. The kids were and are my life. Talk about full circle. Good luck with ur minor medical procedure 🙏🏻 Tks for the opportunity with the giveaway! 🫶🏼 Best, Ingrid from Coastal NC
Went thrifting with my sister today at the closest bins near us. We live in Raleigh, NC and there is a small Goodwill outlet in Greensboro, NC, an hour’s drive. Let’s just saw your bin finds were much more successful than ours! We are jealous of your bins 😊. Thank you for your videos, they are so informative.
At this age, I’m 65, I thought I would be a retired nurse. I always liked helping people. That dream died when I almost fainted at the sight of blood 😂😂. I’ll send up a prayer regarding your medical procedure. Love your videos.
When I was a kid, I wanted to play Monopoly in real life! After a professional career, I’m doing it for real, but I don’t do motels! Lol I’ve decided I’m a serial entrepreneur and reselling is so much fun! It’s my side hustle. So, thank you for your videos that teach us! I hope your girls are doing well. Blessings on your upcoming procedure. Thanks bunches!
When I was a kid I wanted to be a Cruise Director. The closest I came to it was being a cruise consultant, selling cruises to others. It was a lot of fun. Went on a couple of free cruises, but it didn’t pay enough to pay the bills. 😢 So now I am an Office Manager and PT reseller. 😊
When I was a kid I wanted to be a doctor. I’m now in a masters program to be an anesthesiology assistant and will be working in the OR! 🎉 love watching your videos and learning what’s good to look for from you
Me too an archeologist… boy that was long ago…. I have had a number of careers through my 73 years but my favorite role is grandma… blessings Yiayia Pat
I never knew what I wanted to do, I just went with the flow of life! Then covid came, and I lost my business. A blessing in disguise ! I started to sell on Ebay and go to thrift stores. The rest is history, I absolutely love it.
When I was a kid I wanted to work in dentistry. I did. I have the degree. Physical and neurological conditions brought and end to that, at a point where I was volunteering in a free clinic. I still had several decades doing something I loved. 😊 My favorite podcast is; True Crime All the Time. Mike and Ginny are an entertaining duo. 🎉 Cheers!
As a kid I wanted to be a nurse. At 16 I knew I wanted to be a special ed teacher. I ended up getting my degree and teaching high school SPED and math one year before having my first child. Now I stay at home with both my kids and make more money than I ever did teaching. Someday I’ll get back to it though.. I miss it ❤
Funnily enough I too wanted to be an archeologist. I had my kids young so I had to change my route in life. I loved the idea of treasure hunting for a living! I still get to as a reseller, it's just a little bit different.
I think I wanted to be a baseball player when I was a kid. Was a big fan of Kirby Puckett and Ken Griffey Jr. Now I barely even watch baseball. Lol. Nice haul at the bins!
A journalist or newscaster, that was my dream job. My father lost his business and took a different career route. Currently working a 9-5 job. But love love thrifting and reselling and doing my best to get out of my current job. Thank you Brandon for inspiring me. More power to your reselling business and your RU-vid channel.🎉
I was definitely going to be a dolphin trainer by day and country music singer by night. 😂 I ended up being a police officer and a slew of other things over the years and now I’m a mom and RU-vid content creating reseller. amazing finds as usual!
I wanted to be a veterinarian or a nurse. I ended up working with the DA’s office as a child support officer…. Taking care of people in a different way🤷🏻♀️ Great find on the T-shirt!🙌🏼
Wow! I'm surprised that you didn't know Phil Lesh was a member of the Grateful Dead! LOL I wish we had a goodwill outlet in Buffalo. I love watching you at the bins.
I wanted to be an oceanographer, 😂 ended up being a respiratory therapist. 32 years and counting. Thank you again for another great video with tons of information!
lol I am turning 37 and I thought I’d be a marine biologist when I was a kid. Now I’m married a mother of 3 and reselling full time! We just can’t predict what happens lol
I thought I would be an OB/GYN, but when I learned about STDs when I got older, I was out, lol! 😂 I like to start my mornings with with prayer, so there's a prayer podcast I listen to by G. Craig Lewis called Focused Prayers. As always, thanks for another awesome video and I pray all goes well. 🙏🏾 ❤
I thought I was going to be a Ghostbuster. Shoutout to Trash2Cash Podcast is a great podcast so you can learn from their constant and many mistakes! 😂😂😂 GL with the procedure!
Nice find on the Grateful Dead shirt! I always wanted to be a teacher when I was younger......lost interest in that before going away to college though.
Just wanted to be in business and happy by 40. I quit waiting tables at 37 and pulled it off. Never planned on no business from 27-37, bur got back into it and like the Ebay hustle for sure.
I’m retired now and thought I would be traveling more than I am. But as a child I always wanted to explore the world at this chapter of my life.. Just started reselling last month and am really enjoying that. Love watching your you tube channel.
I never thought ahead when I was a kid; now 73! I would have hoped you would make 8 followers SMILE vs one, but I understand the shipping would be crazyyyy. ❤🎁🛒🌟🛍👖🌠📦🤞🏽
I remember wanting to be an actor... or at the very least, a voice-over actor in the great Disney films that came out 30+ years ago. I think I changed my mind multiple times since childhood, especially during the pandemic. I know that my mindset is definitely different than it was 5 years ago!
Love the Grateful Dead shirt! When I see something like that, it makes my heart skip a beat. I came across a Supreme Comme des Garcons Shirt a while back and that was a heart thumper. Thanks for sharing your adventures in the wild.
I thought I would be a race car driver or detective. I am an accountant now haha. I resell and day trade part time to try and get to be full time like yourself. Thanks for your generosity and content as always!
