The Google Wallet team is delighted about partnering with Global Citizen and the Flutter team in the Global Gamers Challenge.
We want to challenge you to think of innovative ways to digitize assets and add them to your users’ Google Wallet, while empowering them to come together and take actions for the environment.
Google Wallet is going to award 30,000 USD in prizes in two different categories. In each category, prizes will be awarded for the best integration, for the runner-up, and for third place.

@@Injazz1 you obviously haven't heard, and or been programming long, this policy is for new Devs so won't affect me, tests are not a prerequisite of the policy, nor is (or should be) clean code, the policy requires you to have 20 testers giving daily feedback for 2 weeks

It's like a blockchain tech but there is literally no blockchain involved so it's actually nothing like blockchain tech. Whatever problems NFTs were designed to solve are just superfluous, all you need to store actual digital assets like cards and tickets is an app that is able to store QRs and other card data integrated with a vendor. It doesn't store "digital gold" or "virtual bucks" or whatever.

There are like 1 or 2 comments on videos with millions of views by Google already. The message in the video has been delivered, so the job is done imo

@@mhmzdev What message? Nobody cares about a google product that will eventually end in the google graveyard. Google doesn't care about its users. Do you even follow what's happening with Flutter? Top managers and devs left last year. Issues numbers is raising. Inconsistencies in the code base on every corner. PRs from the community are left without a review for more that 6 months. Haven't you noticed the blowback? Twitter/X is full of these. And not because Elon is not shadow-banning everyone hating obvious stuff reported like years ago as issues. GWallet is not available in most countries. Google even banned Russia. There is no single African country, No China, No India. Like Google banned billions of users. For what?

The way they are emphasising on "best wallet integration ", that best integration might be the official google wallet package which would launch later on. Using the power of open source 👏🔥
