Not sure what spooked or frightened him, but I’m betting it was something one of those screaming squirrel kids visiting the zoo did. And it’s the PARENTS are to blame and they frequently just stand there like deer in headlights!! They even stand and pound on the glass!! The zoo should really step in when this happens and ask them to behave and follow the rules or leave the zoo.

11:48 Seems like they were on high alert already. You know Kint likes to chase the birds, could have been another pigeon. I think the flapping of the wings scare them the most. If you ever had any type of bird flap their wings by you, it is loud.
Amazing that all were born in captivity yet have that immediate primal instinct to protect the youngest. This family fascinate me every day. I just Love them.
Too loud. Sirens, bells and loud people talking is surely nerve whacking for Momotaro family. Noise level should be reduced for family to have peace and quiet setting. Momotaro family deserve that.
Surely you can do better for those animals. I saw one zoo that kept gorillas that had enclosers that had little caves and lots of green grass. Also , they look bored out of their minds.

@@lillygalant974 If you watch closely they were all on alert while Kintaro was climbing up the ledge, probably to investigate. You can actually see Momo pacing back and forth. Genki and Gentaro were standing still queuing in on the noise and brave Kintaro took the initiative to go investigate. He bit off more than he can chew because whatever it was spooked the heck out of him.
Be carful Gentaro don't be wrong because your parents may seem related and permissive with your actions but they won't allow you to hurt their baby kintaro.😍😍❤️🦍🦍😍😍❤️🦍😍🦍

Gentaro ran right at whatever frightened his baby brother. Momo was right behind him. That is a beautiful family unit and Genki is the best momma Kintaro could ever have! I just love this family. Zoo officials- PLEASE give this amazing g family a better home with some land to roam, grass, mature trees and SPACE! They deserve it since I am sure the zoo makes a lot of money from people coming specifically to see this amazing family!
I think MORE Grazing Space for All Animals kept in Zoos Should be a Requirement! And Healthy Older Animals Should be Set free to Roam in Animal Habitats. 👍💓😊💓👍
@@sarahholmes4705 No one hates animals in cages, more than me. But considering that this is a life-saving measure, I'll take the zoo. They're treated well and I think the zoo keepers do the best they can, with what they have. If the gorillas weren't there, they would be hunted. :(

Some thing was upsetting the family Momotaro was pacing a lot and guarding the perimeter. I loved how he looked at Genki and Kintaro to make sure they were ok. Gentaro was on the look out too..

Muy interesante éste video..varias situaciones me llamaron la atención. Cómo Kintaro conducía con la mano a su madre . Luego el pequeño asustado (tal vez por la bocina del altavoz?) Corrió a refugiarse con Genky, mientras tanto Gentaro y Momotaro alertas corrieron a proteger el territorio.

I noticed Gentaro's snout has started to grow quite a bit lately. He's also getting some grey patches on his shoulders and backside. It's kind of exciting watching him transform from a blackback to a silverback before our eyes.

He's learning well from Momotaro. I honestly think this is the reason why Genki isn't babying him anymore. Otherwise, instead of behaving independently like a soon to be silverback, he would have ran to Genki for protection and support. My prince is growing into an awesome silverback.

Did you see Gentaro scale that wall as if it were nothing. He wasted no to reach and protect Kintaro against whatever it was that made him scream. He already has the characteristics of an outstanding silverback and protector. He learned well from Momotaro.
OMGoodness, I was thinking the same thing. Good thing Gentaro's behavior was more of an investigator, patrolling their habitat from the rooftop. Otherwise, he would have definitely been blamed for Kintaro's outburst.
😉😉I'm going to guess that the unexpected ringing sound of the bell overhead before the announcer did it's thing, took Kintaro off guard, frightening him. This caused the others to run to his side looking around on what "might have been" with Mama Genki scooping him up for safety. 🥰🥰
I love gorillas now since discovering your channel, MOMOTARO and GENKI are my fave couple,,, MOMOTARO was so green when he GENKI were first matched, but he soon became hip to the program
