Exactly. My 99 laps on test track will always stick with me. Then accidentally trying to hit resume on a corner and hitting restart on the 97th lap and having to start all over again.. 🥺🥺

I played this. I enjoyed it. Yes it didn't have a campaign mode, which was sad but this game had 800 cars and 35 tracks. That, for a psp is INSANE

Played this on my psp, was able to link with other psp's without wifi and race them if they were within a certain range of you.. could swap certain cars too.. that intro was just so nostalgic

I had this game... bought almost every car. And with the simulation physics selected it felt decently realistic. Understeer, oversteer, snap-oversteer (NSX I'm looking at you), different drivetrains and weights and so. The best driving simulator on the PSP for sure. I'm emulating it on my phone because it's still better than the crappy mobile racing games which all feel awful. Except for Grid Autosport of course.

GT PSP was one of the best. It allowed you to connect with GT Prologue and move your cars from one game to the other. Plus having it on the go was amazing.

I MISS MY PSP SO MUCH. I PLAYED THIS ALL THE TIME. One of the best ways to get a lot of money is to do a free drift run. I always used the WRX rally car on a snow track. Big angles and AWD baby

You probably won’t believe me, but the very first video game I ever played was Gran Turismo PSP, which I got for Christmas alongside the PSP itself. I spent hours on that game, hiding my PSP under my pillow and waiting for my parents to go to bed before staying up all night on it. Great memories!

I used to play this game a lot, I think I owned almost all the cars and I still have the original PSP disc and the PlayStationPortable this game is the best racing game on the PSP maybe even the best game on PSP I have about 300 hours + i used to play it when travailing.

I really did play the shit out of this. Bought it on disc when psp was relevant, reboufht it digitally on my vita when it was available there a couple months after launch. Love this game. Was always gutted the vita didn't get a GT game P.S. Check out Sega rally Revo or outrun 2006 on psp, those are sick.

Another cool feature is the actual clock in the right bottom corner which says the real life corner. So if you can pay close attention you can see that Mathew was recording between 00 and 01 AM.

The PSP actually had analog face buttons. So you could trail-brake by adjusting how hard you press the square button. But that's if you're playing using an actual PSP. Not sure if emulators are able to capture that.
