@@ReadRomans10 I think you will find they have no official position on the deity of Christ. It is not something that would be discussed in a lodge (discussion religion and politics is forbidden). Although, if you want to join some of the appendant bodies, such as the Order of the Knights Templar, you do need to believe in the doctrine of the Trinity, which would of course include believing in the deity of Christ. So, your comment is wholly inaccurate.

@Ard Tru all comments where deleted when the video was taken down and obviously didn't go back on when the video was put back up. It should be noted that there was only two comments, the first one and mine second, but not as a reply to the first, it was as a separate comment. As far as I should contact the Provincial Secretary maybe I should, but then according to our Lodge and Provincial By laws , it's secretary and Almoner should contact a brother once they indicate they wish to resign, no one from my ( old ) Lodge has ever contacted me. Not even my so called friends or brothers nor my proposer or seconder. As soon as I said I no longer wanted to join any more side degrees I felt like I was dropped like a stone ( or should that be rough ashlar ) . I loved Freemasonry, I couldn't wait for the next meeting and I enjoyed the ritual, both learning and giving it, but it got very annoying when I was constantly being pushed into extra degrees. I do have issues with the dumbing down on ritual, our Province issued guidelines that as long as a word had a similar meaning and sound as the written word that was ok, personally I don't think it is, if the wrong words are used they become the right words then they get changed again. I've lost count of the times I've heard " subliminally abode" rather than the correct phrase used and the DC never corrects it. But our Lodge* gets plenty of new members ... but they don't stay .- * I still think of it as my mother lodge though I doubt I'll ever set foot in it again.

@Ard Tru I sometimes think the whole bloody lot are rotten... but that's not really fair. I regularly used to visit lodges, there's even one I have considered seeing if I could join. I do have occasional contact with a couple of members of that Lodge, but, one of them has only recently had his third and has said he is already being pushed into side degrees, so I don't know whether it would be out of the frying pan, into the fire! For the foreseeable future I'm doing nothing, I still have a very bad taste in my mouth, but maybe in a few years time that may change.....
