Honestly, this is a great concept, the staff are great and horrible and it strikes a perfect balance 😂 The food does need a bit of improvement in my opinion but I’m sure that will happen. This place will be jammed for at least a few months anyway, giving plenty of time to make a few tweaks, along with the liquour license coming in
This concept is a great idea in the U.S. where sacrine service is the norm, it looks fun but Ireland is more nuanced, you can get similar service in places that don’t charge for that service. Certain Eddie Rockets(empty your pockets) locations could give the same experience.
I was there last night and it was honestly funny. So the woman at 0:39 was asking us about the concept of the diner and the rules and me and my friends were like “yes” and then she looked at me and was like “what rule number 2?” And I was like “I don’t f*cking know” and she was like “I don’t give a sh*te if you know or not cos I just asked you” then we were seated and when the man at 1:55 asked what would I like to drink and I asked for original coke and he gave me a look on the face like “what did you just say” then he was taking our orders and asked what would we like to order and my friend was telling the order and then the man at 1:55 forced him to let me order first which was weird but it was funny, and then when 2 more of my friends walked in they were getting yelled at by the woman at 0:39 and me and another friend were recording and the women at 2:59 saw us recording and was like “why are you 2 recording you could’ve used airdrop” then the woman at 0:39 slammed my friends pizza on the table and I was like “f*cking hell” then she looked at me and was like “do you have a problem” and I was like “no” then she gave me a hat that said “cheese d*ck breath” it was so funny 10/10😂😂😂😂
They haven't a prayer of making food better than Eddie Rockets. Rockets is very expensive but they have queues for most of their locations after years in business . And a double smokestack burger is out of this world although its about 17 euro now i think with the extra patty
The concept of a flashy / retro diner with abusive/ snarky severs was pioneered by Ed Debevics in Chicago in the late 1980s. They are definitely borrowing the idea
@@Paul_IsItWorthIt hi Paul . I just wanted to say. You said you weee going to get a table. But, you need two Directors chairs You know the fold up ones? You can buy them in Decathlon. They cost a Tenner here in France. They are ideal. You can carry them over your shoulder. That will give you( and the cameraman) an intimate setting..( I’m not suggesting anything, by the way!😃) But , can you see wheee I’m coming from ? Get your take away, extract yourself from the front area and then do your review. . In a quiet place. Absolutely no one that I I have seen on RU-vid does this. So, you will be the first. Don’t get gazumped.. Don’t forget , to explain the menu, when you’ve left the joint and pan 360. So everyone can see the location.. that’s all we need. This concept ( 40 euros outlay!) will propel you into the next stratosphere , of food reviewing.. believe me ! You already have the charisma.. so milk it! BTW.. I’m going to stop watching your channel, when you become the next presenter of THE LATE LATE SHOW!😃😃😃
