Grand festival HYYYYYYPE! Kinda hoping they perform other songs, like the squid sisters doing the calamari inkantation. They can pull choreography from the live concerts for deep cut and off the hook, so maybe.
Personally I don't think this theme will affect the next game, all the previous games have but this feels like the end of an era so I'm not sure but yah.
Splatoon is too popular to just drop. They stated this was the end of the Saga. Referring to story mode. Whatever comes up in the next game would feel more like Splatoon 1. A game that has a fresh start (story wise) and isn't directly connected to the previous titles. It won't be Splatoon 4 because in Asian culture 4 is commonly associated with death. So I envision it's called Splatoon: Fresh Start
