I just found you and I've only watched a few of your videos but I just want to say I love the format and the key things you explain. Do you have any videos on how to convert Log footage into rec 709 then into a color grade? Also the difference between pre composing / rendering / exporting / best exporting for final video from AE? Thanks for all the content you've done so far! Subscribed!
Thanks, I really appreciate it! I haven't created a Log to Rec 709 and color grade tutorial. I'm hesitant to make one because it really depends on the type of camera that the video is shot on. There's a lot different utility LUTs that you can look into depending on your specific camera model. I would do a quick Google search. Otherwise I did make this color correcting tutorial below that might help! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3ca5UrWwl5w.html That's a great video suggestion for an After Effects tutorial. I'll keep it in mind and might create a best export settings tutorial for After Effects. Thanks again for subscribing. It really means a lot!
This is common if you're animating the position parameter. Try resetting the keyframes. Then right click on the position parameter and choose separate dimensions. This will separate the X and Y values. When you animate them separately and add easy easy the handles should show up in the graph editor. Hope this helps!
hey thanks for the tutorial. do yo know if there is a way to edit the graph of multiple layers at the same time? as when using the keyframe assistant for simple eases
Thanks! That's a great question. I found out that if you select the properties you'd like to edit, then right click on the keyframes in the graph editor, you have to go to Select Keyframe Label Group, and then click on Visible Keyframes on Selected Layers. This should allow you to edit the ease of multiple keyframes at the same time.
In order to have the yellow line on the other side of the keyframe, there would need to be another keyframe on the other side. The yellow handle bars are only displayed between two keyframes. Hope that makes sense!
You might need to change your view settings. If you click on the eye button at the bottom of the graph editor you’ll see some options. Make sure that only “Show Animated Properties” is checked. You might be seeing other property values that aren’t animated and that is why it may be appear that you cannot animate anything. Also be sure to create your keyframes and value adjustments before going into the graph editor. Hope this helps!
