From here we head over the border into Italy, or King Valley as we like to call it. This little hidden corner of the state also happens to be one of our oldest gourmet regions. Thanks in no small part to the Italian immigrant families who settled here generations ago and brought with them their love of good food, good wine and generous hospitality. They also happened to bring with them Australia’s very first prosecco vines. No surprise then that wineries like Dal Zotto bring their absolute A-game to this fizzy little number. Bellissimo!
