The Great Aussie Lap - Episode 27 - Marble Bar - Australia’s Hottest Town 

Hi and Welcome to Episode 27 of the "Great Aussie Lap"
In this episode, we head east again. This time out to Marble Bar, 200km inland from Port Headland.
We actually follow behind one of the quad trucks heading out to the Pilbara to load up with 210 tonnes of Iron Ore destined for the Port. The quad trucks are owned by the MGM Bulk transport company and are painted pink in support of International Women's Day 2023.
Marble bar is known as the hottest town in Australia and it is recorded in the Guinness Book of Records for 161 consecutive days of being over 37.8 deg C (100 deg F) back in 1923/1924.
Even though Marble Bar is surrounded by a harsh rocky environment, we discover something magic about the place.
