I have been going thru my second Saturn return and after a 30 year life as an academic professor, I left it all behind (retired) and I am back to astrology which was my first profession until I was thirty years, when I became a professor. Saturn cycle in my life has been very well marked professionally.

I have a student who is also one of my astrology clients. She was born December 1932 and is having her third Saturn return. At 1 Aquarius theSaturn/Jupiter conjunction will match up with her Saturn exactly. At the same time Pluto is opposing its natal position of 23 Cancer. Also her Sun is at 10 Sagittarius conj. Mercury at 14, so the Solar Eclipse is also involved. Quite a combination!

I'd also say that having Saturn in 11th (aquarius house) FEELS like a Saturn return somewhat. I had my first Saturn return back in 1992. I studied Architecture and practice for 10 years. I remember that in 1992 I was ready to move into unchartered territory. I wanted to quit Architecture and do something more meaningful. My second child was born that year in September. I was convinced by a colleague to open an Architectural Firm with him and other partner. I reluctantly said yes. Not completely fulfilled, looking back I think I sabotaged my way out of it and I was kicked out. Not knowing what to do and my third child due by March 1994, I decided I wanted to open a bookstore. It all materialized by August 1994. It was a very successful “new age”, self-help bookstore with great emphasis on metaphysics and spirituality. I had the opportunity to go to Sedona, Colorado and explore that more spiritual side of me. It all crumbled in 1998. I’m approaching my second Saturn return April 2021 and I’m already feeling that same itchiness I felt 30 years ago. Looking forward. BTW. I’m enrolled in your First year Course plus Horary Astrology. I am about to go through my first saturn return in Aquarius (9* saturn in Aquarius conj Sun in Aqua at 8*) and I feel some of these themes beginning to emerge as I am questioning whether my position I am currently in is where I can make the biggest impact to serve my community. At the same time - it looks as though my contract will be ending at the end of March. I am inspired to create a service to bring Indigienous communities together to heal, create, connect and explore themselves through the weaving of traditional dance and free-form concious movement and embodiment ( I am an Indigenous woman from Canada). Wow! I'm glad to be putting some dates on my diary for 2021 already! (and realising it will light up a lot in my natal chart!) My MC is at 29:39 (within less than a degree from where the Jupiter Saturn conjunction is taking place on the Solstice! The Saturn Uranus Squares will also touch sth quite prominent in my chart at the moment: Uranus is currently (since May - and until at least May next year, but longer by orb) forming a KITE in my natal chart: it's making a Grand Earth Trine to my natal Pluto/North Node conjunction (at 8 and 10 of Virgo in the 5th) and my natal Jupiter/Juno conjunction (at 9 and 11 Cap in the 9th), both sextiling my natal Neptune (at 10 Scorpio in the 7th). The 3 Saturn Uranus squares (at 7, 13 and 11 Aquarius/Taurus) will highlight that KITE, but in particular the last one in Dec next year. What am I to expect? (I'd rather some peace and quiet than revolution to be honest...) I had my second Saturn Return last year (3 passes). It was a tough year... I was still fighting the massive consequences of when Pluto conjuncted my Saturn at 17 Cap a couple of years before (for a couple of years). My first Saturn Return was a single pass just as I turned 29. My life was changing so fast at that time! I changed careers, countries, activities, relationships, friendships, experiences - all that has marked the last 30 years of my life in so many ways! This time round I'm feeling much more like doing the opposite: settling down to a much calmer life! But am worried about all these transits in my 10th house (Aquarius)... My Father had his 3rd Saturn Return (3 passes) in 2018. He thought he was saying his good-byes - but that was not the case! It's interesting to observe. He's taken a step back from the world but has become a lot more focused on things he really enjoys, like painting and sculpture! That's an inspiration!

Oh my! This hits my sun and moon in Leo all year! So I get some relief from the cardinal stellium opposing my natal mercury to Saturn and Jupiter opposing my sun and moon all square to Uranus. Oh why not? I've felt fried and crispy for the last two years, what is one more? These growth spurts can get a bit painful but I refuse to lose my positive attitude. I am hoping these will be leap ups and not strike downs. So if you are a fixed sign ... breathe and take those leaps of faith or you may get pushed. Here is to hoping I jump in time!

Got my Mars at 0 degrees of Taurus and Venus at 9 degrees of Taurus. My husband has Venus at 7 degrees of Scorpio. Has got to be a very good year or a very bad year. The best that can be said for the year is that it is going to be exciting.

Regarding Jupiter square: Yes! Close calls and saving graces. This is so common in my life that I forget to notice sometimes. Jupiter is squaring by sign a stellium in the third. Siblings and I have stories of close calls with a flare of drama since Jupiter is sitting in Leo. Almost a sense of someone protectively watching over to save you. And also even tragic experiences can have synchronicity and sense that help is nearby.

I must compliment you on the quality of your presentation, EXCELLENT! I've been looking for a mature historical and philosophical perspective that resonates with my astrological studies. Project Hindsight and the work of Robert Hand were my first exposures to the Hellenistic methods that you seem to find most productive. Finding out that you have a Cap Moon and an appreciation of Jordan Peterson and Jon Stewart clinches my admiration!

Great series, looking forward to 2021 even more ! My mother in law will have her 3rd return in Aquarius next year and my 21 yo daughter (who is a musician) has a stellium of 5 planets in Aquarius in the 5th with mercury at 1 degree, Neptune at 2, Sun at 6, and Uranus at 12 😭

That's so interesting you mention that dream because I have had a similar dream like 3 times this year about the mass exodus of souls ascending that looks and feels very similar to your description of the Haitians. I haven't heard someone describe what I've seen outside of this dream in real life before. Trippy.

I'm in my second Saturn return right now (natal Saturn at 29.49° in the 8th). Questions of loyalty and obligations come up. Next year will be my Jupiter return which is right on my MC (Jupiter 7° in the 9th). So the Jupiter/Uranus square will be on my Jupiter on the MC opposing my natal Mars. Just thinking about it brings up the feeling of the roar of a lion in my throat :-). It feels good and I will finally do what matters the most to me. Astrology. Studying with a great teacher I highly recommend. His name is Acyuta. And other than that continuing my spiritual practice. So I guess the lions roar is a good image for that.

Would like to mention the first walk on the Moon, which took place in 1969. This was a major cultural event that far surpassed the boundaries of science and exploration, and influenced media and the mood of the world, in a way similar to the way Woodstock did, also in 1969. Photos and video taken on the Moon were everywhere. Same month or close to it, iirc.

Yes that is why Saturn is associated with Janus, exactly! I teach my kindergarteners this. It’s where we (think) January got its name, and why January is associated with the new year: we are looking back at the previous year while also simultaneously looking forward into what is to come anew.

Re: Columbine- it started this wave of study and investigation into these areas of our society that had previously been dismissed.

I’m looking forward to the changes in 2021. I really enjoyed this series & always learn something from you. You’re a good teacher & easy to understand & I love all your examples. It’ll be interesting to see how this works out in my chart. Late Scorpio rising with a mid Taurus Sun so the Saturn/Uranus won’t affect those in 2021. I do have Pluto at 5 deg in Scorpio & Mercury at 4 deg in Taurus and a 1 deg Gemini Moon. Those will be something to reflect on as those planets receive the early transits.

So exciting! I feel like though 2020 was a big year of growing and change for me (Cap rising), a lot is gonna happen next year too. I’m getting the grand conjunction in my second house, where I have Mars and North Node. My husband is getting them also in the second house and his second Saturn return. My own Saturn is in Gemini and 6th where the North Node is transiting, so I’m getting north Node and Saturn conjunction next year both ways. Saturn also is my time lord for the second year in a row. I've been looking for the silver lining for this upcoming year. I have a T-Square between Jupiter (Leo/2nd) & Saturn (Aquarius/8th) with Sun at the Apex (Taurus/11th). Uranus will be exactly conjunct my Natal Sun on my 30th BDay this coming year. It's looking like this will either be the BEST year of my life or the absolute worst. I have a lot of planets in fixed signs and I was wondering as Jupiter and Saturn are effecting the fixed signs in conjunctions, oppositions and squares, does this mean negative situations can arise? This definitely will be interesting as I’ve already been encountering the Uranus transit to natal Taurus sun 6° in the 12H & opposing Pluto 3°in Scorpio 6H. This past year the Sun/Uranus was exact on my birthday. Upcoming in 2021, you mentioned Saturn in Aquarius 6° will square Uranus back at 6° and over my natal sun. I’ve experienced many twists and turns already like becoming one of your yr 1 students, leaving my RN job last December to full time stay at home mom with my kids due to the pandemic, and becoming their homeschool teacher.

This is a cool way to start off with Jupiter year😁 My Jupiter is at 11° Aquarius right next to my Uranus at 7°. So the Saturn/Jupiter square should be fun for all right? 😅 Jupiter is also my chart ruler so I know some big growth coming and new experiences I'm excited for 🤗

It’s interesting you should mention Jordan Peterson. I’m aquarius, scorpio rising, cancer moon and would like you, describe myself as more left or liberal. I know a lot of people on the left don’t like Jordan Peterson (I think in someways he is misunderstood and people think he is talking about his views, rather than how things are and reasons things are as they are), he’s probably too conservative for me, but as a psychology student, I like the way he explains things and particularly like the way, he explains trends and life truths in terms of ‘archetypes’, like bible stories, mythology and literature such as Shakespeare. I like the way you explain things aswell. You’re a similar age to me, I was born 1980.

It lands on my midheaven as well and like yourself i have the great conjunction in my natal chart (4 and 6 degrees of libra). How do you see this playing out? Its 5th and 9th for me personally...im just hoping for some good news lol being a gem rising through this part of history with all the heavy energy in the 8th was something ill gladly learn from and say goodbye to!

The Grand Conjunction occurs exactly at the cusp of my 12th House! ...and so they will be transiting my 12th house for the year at least! Wow, what that means I don't know. Seems like a big deal...for a 74 year old.

Natl Neptune oppose the slow Uranus and coming up on a slow square in February with Jupiter would be an almost generational thing for people in their late 50's/early 60's.

Lol when you’re talking about who will be impacted most - my Venus and Neptune are both at 1 degree in Aquarius and my Mars is at 1 degrees in Aries and Mercury at 27 degrees approaching Aries ... (and rising sign at 26 degrees approaching Sagittarius) .. also my Jupiter is in the 3rd house which is where it is moving through now - does that make a difference? This is wonderful. I like the observations on Narnia symbolisms. Are there any novelists, I wonder, who pick a birth time & date for their main characters and then use the significant transits to get ideas for plot twists? Seems the Universe is already doing that. With us!

Uranus squares in Jan, Feb, and not again until next winter. I ask myself what do these time frames have in common. That is where my mind goes. Also I think of problems that arise and the solutions that we come up with. “Necessity is the mother of invention” Still thinking about it and wondering if Saturn square is reacting to Jupiter square or visa versa.

So Jupiter is squaring Uranus and my Venus, and then Saturn comes to my Venus... my life is not that exiting. The good thing is they are trining my sun and mercury in aries and my uranus and jupiter in Sagittarius... seems a promising year but I am skeptical.

I have chiron 3 degrees Leo will it affect that as well or just planets? Chiron is retrograde.

So if one has Jupiter natal at 6 degrees Aquarius it should help with some of the Saturn/Uranus conjunctions or it may expand some of those dynamics in the chart/life experience? Just also at the 3 rd Saturn return hit at 28 Capricorn...during 2020 of 2nd Saturn return

Last night I had a dream that the ceiling was leaking so I went to check it out and then the ground started pulsating...I looked out the window and there were lights in the creek and it exploded. I looked around to help people and they stayed talking and it happened again . While the ground was separating people were trying to hold onto the edge ...but again were not bothered as eventually they lost grip and floated away. I never remember my dreams but this morning I did and it creeped me out

How do you know you are in a saturn return? Saturn will be transiting my first house, also natally my Jupiter is in the 1st house.
