Thanks for the video! From a developer perspective it sounds like I can replace prometheus client with open telemetry in my apps, but still expose metrics by prometheus protocol and use prometheus to scrape and store those metrics. By the way, background music is a bit distracting, maybe too loud.
Yup this is correct! Also in the opentelemetry collector you can configure a prometheus receiver which scrapes metrics from your prometheus instance if you wanted to do that. Also this is great feedback so thank you 🙂
