I have seen every single low elo legends video of the playlist and I enjoyed every single one of them. But this one is the best of all time. The trade cart, the crocodile , the elephants not finding the base in the corner. I was literally crying of laughter. Thank you T90. Thank you low elo legends
totally! this one had seriously comical moment and the way T90 calls the game makes it so much more entertaining. Thank t90 for continuing to bring us this amazing content!
OMG!! This was truly a LEGENDARY game! I was at the edge of my seat, I didn't know who was gonna tap out first. whoa... like two MMA fighters in the last round, giving it their all.
This is legit THE BEST LEL I’ve seen and I’ve watched two thirds of the whole playlist. I had tears falling down my face from laughing. Amazing game! Fantastic commentary!
game of the century! so many epic moments 👀 A crocodile changing the course of the game. Thousands of Elephants is not what one don´t get see every day.
In a best of 5 match ball game between Viper and Yo in a tournament - I can't recall which one - Yo's villager died to a wolf in the first minute of the game and he instantly resigned out of frustration, thereby exiting the tournament.
Wow, this game had everything! The swings back and forth were amazing. Well cast T90 and tx for your insites and tips with each situation. Gotta luv elo matches
This reminds me of when some of the girls over at Hololive played a game of AoE2 in teams of two 'it was a 2v2v2 i think' and the winner of that game was the girl named Fauna who basically stampeded the other two teams with Elephants and Archers. It was basically a Low Elo Legends game XD
And this is why low level "esports" are so darn entertaining. The misplays, the bad choices, the forgotten units, the lack of upgrades, etc. all make for such a more.. dynamic and thrilling experience. It's not just RTSes, either - The FPS Whiff fights, where 2 people just keep missing each other why awkwardly staring at each other, the racing game matches where despite multiple players crashing headlong into a wall multiple times per lap it somehow still remains competitive, the smash matches where both players SD at least once at 0%, etc. etc. are all SO fun and entertaining to watch. You never know WHAT is going to happen, and that's what makes it so good.
I'd say go for it. Try and get them to add the feature to name specific units. Shouldn't be too hard to add semi-king like features too so it notifies you when those marked units are under attack as well and if they are inside a building/transport. They would show up on the top bar like kings would. Shouldn't be too complicated. They can easily just re-use the king tracking features for them. ;)
This should be "The Legend of Crispy Walter" because this match was pretty epic and both of these players are a Legend for making it turn out the way it did.
I have a passing interest in AoE2, I never got invested in it, I played it on my friends playstation 2 when I was 9 and got it on PC myself to play 2 skirmishes and never again, but because of this it holds such an incredible nostalgic value to me. I still have it on PC now and it's fun to dick around a bit but I have no idea how to play against a competent player. So the reason why I keep coming back to watch these videos is a mystery to me but you are so nice to listen to!! Also I felt really called out with the "low level players treat the game a but like sim city" cause it's so TRUE for me
That's me, when the Protoss pretty much outplayed me, but I realise I made way too many Ultras and just go and right click the buildings and it kinda works even with Protoss air shooting them from above
T90 is spot on. I love the BIG TREES - so pretty! 🌳🌳 Am I crap at the game? Probably. But turning AoE2 into TRON is just WRONG. Trees please. WHAT A GAME! 😍👍 Outstanding. The Emperor would say "You BOTH shall live..." 💪💪 Thank you, T90. Another beauty of a game! 🌟 M 🦘🏏😎
A side note on the market upgrades: back in the day, you were able to send resources even to your enemies. I'm not sure if it's still possible but to use the wording “when you send resources to an ally” is a stretch, it's just “when you send resources”. I think it's definitely still possible in the campaigns, I have no idea why they removed the option from other types of games. Like when you play online against the AI and there is a flaw in the scenario or the AI is just stupid (has a town center, zero villagers and 300 food, chooses to go for hand cart), you simply send the enemy AI 200 food and enjoy a nice game.
I believe you can track units on the map during anytime, you click on them then move the timer and if they're alive they'll still be selected just press space, pretty sure that's possible
T90's elo series reminds me of how much fun it was to just play a gentle green-grassed game (no snow was my first mod) in a cruel more dystopian war-game world in 1999 (I was deadeyexxx in COD2, and got good there for some reason...military family kid who loved small French villages - one of my chat moments went up to youtube apparently - I never saw it). I had no idea of aoe1/2 strategy (hated anything after) and played the game for years against a very forgiving ai... at least as long as I knew I should play an easier setting when tired or......just wanting to win and do my build on a new map until I got bored and moved to a new map. Had NO IDEA until t90official and other channels showed the joy of doing it fun another way - like, engaging the metrics with earnest. The game has always had those two poles for me - watching Viper or Hera or Lierry or insert name her fast dance with each other at unbelievable speed - OR - my search for a new map experience with no skill, getting that feeling "omg a new real world map I can build up my forces on" slow dances with low level ai. If I get good at a map, I might try it at a higher AI level. Or I might just try a different map for a different sort of novelty. WHAT A GAME! 💗
This was a huge treat to watch live. I was really on the edge of my seat towards the end when... SPOILERS . . . we thought the eles were gonna destroy the corner TC but Red didn't have vision so it looked like forest to him.
I wonder if they look back at their games and how they react to it. Red must have been so unhappy knowing there was a whole bunch of vils in that one corner
I'm around 500 ELO. Sometimes I take a boar, sometimes I don't. It depends how smooth things are going and if there is berries. If things feel difficult or complicated I'll just do farms and ignore the wild animals. Taking boars usually isn't necessary to keep villager production going so I consider them optional. For me it's more important that I focus on avoiding TC idle time, which is a real struggle. Boars complicate the flow of work and can cause me mess up my build or economy badly and then i end up way behind. So it's safer if I ignore boars and and focus on farming.
