To people saying FF7 music and other FF music is overrated - It wasn't just the musical scores that made FF music the greatest experience; the provided contextual and situational information steadily and stealthily (but powerfully) supplied by the dialog and play options within the games; they drew you into the story, into the lives of the characters and made you literally feel as if you were living the life of the characters. You got emotionally involved as the music changes to match the scenario which is all dependant on how you play the game. So the player has the simulation of total control to move about the world at will, conquer all challenges no matter the difficulty - by figuring out your own solutions using materia, magic or different weapon strategies. You couldn't always save the world and you knew you would die trying; but that was ok. The music on it's own is fantastic if you ask me, though I can understand it is not everybodies cup of tea, but the music in context of the game was unforgettable and ground breaking at the time too. The first game that really brought computer gaming and hollywood style visuals together, though not the first to feature mind blowingly dramatic but not cheesy modern classical. It's definitely not overrated even if it is not your own cup of tea.
Studying for math final normally: - Unconcentrated - Dilly Dallying - Learning nothing Studying for math with final fantasy mix: - Locked in - Learns everything - Reminds me that nobuo uematsu exists and that he would be proud - Final fantasy music
i remember listening to this every day in 2016, and now revisiting this almost 6 years later is not only making me nostalgic for the games, but nostalgic for this very video itself. still as magical as when i first heard it (especially now that i've played all the games in this medley).
This video makes me feel exactly the way I did while playing Final Fantasy. An emotional journey with a bittersweet ending. Always wanting to start again as soon as the journey comes to an end. Very well done. Thanks so much for this!
And it's appreciated so much. This was the theme to my graduating in law at the top of my year. Basically had this on repeat in the library and felt like I was on a massive epic quest to win at life! (for three years hahahaha)
Mages, warriors, knights and whatnot, please put on your protective armor. The awesomeness of this medley is literally heartstopping. 17 people died the last time I checked. (UPDATE: The death count is still going up. Make of that if you will.)
Perfection. This medley has helped me boince back up to my feet so many times. To feel sorrow, pain, remorse, Love, anger & the courage to experience all of it. Much love to you & all fellow people reading this
I'd love a six hour version of this where each song loops three times. Such a good mix but I'd love to be able to groove on most of these titles for longer!
I've been listening to a lot of Final Fantasy music remixes recently, and I've been constantly impressed by their quality - yet this one might be the most magnificent I've found so far. Thanks for all your work; you're a credit to the fandom, and the franchise!
This is in my top 3 most played tracks when falling asleep. This never gets old. I've had it downloaded ever since I came across it many years ago. Thank you.
By the way, I want to thank you all for your nice comments and support:) I want to announce that I'm almost done with a second medley. It's shorter but with increased sound and production quality. I guess i will get it finished this summer. Have a nice day!
The title was not a lie... Definitely the best medley i have ever heard about FF. Each transition is pleasant, and the choice of the OSTs is perfect. Well done !
If you've ever wondered what it would feel like to be in Nobuo Uematsu's head, wonder no more. This is what it sounds like to be there, transitions and all.
There's a way to make her immortal. When you're sneaking out of her house, stand just above her door then press the run button. She'll try to run to the exact spot where you're standing to tell you off, but you're blocking her, so she runs around you in a small circle forever.
I'm a bit late to this party but this is simply amazing. I'm super picky with remixes and rarely like them better than the original songs. But pretty much every remix on this soundtrack is incredible.
AMAZING. I searched "final fantasy mix" for atmospheric background music while writing and got exactly what I hoped for, more even. I found myself starting to watch the corresponding video and being reminded how much I've loved Final Fantasy throughout life. Very well done.
this arrangement is unbelievable!!! ... a true masterpiece for any person that is a fan of final fantasy music. I listen to this song all day long while I work. I love it!! Thank you for creating it, and I am your newest biggest fan!! thank you!
This was worth 5 years of your time, I will most assuredly listen to it for the rest of my life or until I can no longer listen anymore. Flawless blend between tracks, makes the whole thing a real experience. You sir are a scholar and wizard.
Thats now the sixth time I listen to this soundtrack. It's a great listen for when I study... I'm very fascinated by the transitions. I'm guessing it took a lot of effort to compile all the songs in a way, that makes it so easy on the ear! My respect for your work!
I have lost count of exactly how many times I have listened to this! The work involved must have been epic, what a tribute, they are all linked together perfectly!
Could you please make more FF medleys like this? There are still good themes not included in this video. This is an extraordinary work bro. Thank you so much
Please, one more Final Fantasy... a classic Final Fantasy :( With ATB, no voice acting, pure text, unique characters with rich character development over the story, plot twists... Mistwalker please :(
bcmasur I could, but the problem is that I want to play it, If I create a game, I would know the plot, I would know every secret, how to get best items etc.
Wow. Wow wow wow. Found this in my recommendations & put it on for studying and it made me smile so many times while I was invested my notes, I had to even share it with a friend. Each transition was so well done!! I loved it!
This is amazing. My favourite OST is FF7, but all of these mixed together seamlessly is great. And when that dark messenger kicks in at 1:29:36 though!
All Final Fantasy series is epic. Totally epic. These tracks just make me feel the feelings that i had back to the time i first played Final Fantasy VIII. FF is the game that i love most. And i bet you too huh?
Whomever made this must know music theory very well to have perfectly strung together so many songs, not only in key and time signature, but with the flow of emotion. Pretty freakin rad!
You just wrapped up a huge part of my entire videogame childhood in two hours of intense magical nostalgic beautiful moments and memories. Thank you for the hard work you have put into this. You did extremely well. Definitely worth 15$CAD
Why is the comment section full of "fan boy, fan boy fan boy" WE ARE ALL FINAL FANTASY LOVERS. WE LOVE ALL THE FINAL FANTASY GAMES EXCEPT THE DREADFUL MESS THAT WAS KNOWN AS FINAL FANTASY 13. (And maybe 10 in my humble opinion) Lets all love the music and love the series :]
In your opinion, X was a "dreadful mess" ? Why ? The story is, imo, one of the best of the franchise, the music as well, the characters were all pretty cool (Although Riku and Tidus seemed a bit out of place at some times), the combat sytem was pretty simple but I still had fun in battles. Honnestly, I can't see why so many people hate X... Because of that awkward laughing scene or that ,equally awkward, Tidus/Yuna scene in Macalania ?
Mr Socrates I just never felt any connection to the final fantasy 10 characters. Its my humble opinion. I literally didn't care if any of em died at any time. And ended up not even bothering enough to complete it. Just didn't have a connection to the characters.
Don't know why final fantasy fans usually dont like too much of XIII, lightning is really awesome, her love for her sister is awesome, all the lies between Vanille and Sazh are awesome, the way to Vanille comfort someone even that inside she knows that there is no hope, the hate between Hope and Snow is awesome, and their fate to "die" as crystals is really something. Agree, maybe X is the worst in my opinion.
Damien Lim its a reproduction with an arrangement of each individual instrument. I wanted to go the official way and because of the huge amount of songs (royalties) it's unfortunately not possible to offer it for a lower price. To rip this video as mp3 I still recommend offliberty.com/
(31/01/2024) (this will be a bit long lol) ok, To start 2024, I will play 1 final fantasy per month, I already started with january; this month will be final fantasy 1, february final fantasy 2, and so on. As this day (31) being the last one of january... its almost february, so I am supposed to have beaten final fantasy 1 ((because is january the first month of the year)) ... FF 1, I defeated chaos in DoS, maybe I should play the extra dungeons but never played them before, lol, but the main game is already finished I dont know how this will be with the later and longer final fantasy games, but I'll do my best. I'll try to edit this comment to keep "it up to date" somehow, lol [I'm still learning english, so sorry for the misspeling and any mistake or those kinda stuff, lol]
This may not be what you want to hear, I'm sure it likely is not, but if you really delve into true Christianity, Final Fantasy is lowkey making a mockery of it. Most everything in the world does these days, but no one wants to hear it. It would mean giving up so much stuff they love or are addicted to when they realize who/what is the driving force behind it. If you're an atheist, I can assure you that the biblical God is not the 'fun' God, so it's understandable why some would want him to not exist. Practically everything on earth is a sin, yes. But there is a reason for it, and that is because you are not supposed to love the earth. You'll find that the cultures who bring us these games and anime etc etc, have a morbid love for the earth. How many video game NPC's you know of that have the "humans are bad earth is good" trope written as their backstory? I've lost count. The devil hates us, just like they do, and earth is one of his permanent homes. It's where, if you really get into new age meditations, you will see that he wants you to stay, and learn to love it. Things like this are the reason I returned to Christianity when I went almost too far down the rabbit hole a few years back. I used to think none of this stuff mattered, it wholeheartedly does.
@@MavisRecon Sorry if I’m misinterpreting your comment so you’re saying that humans as a whole should not form connections with the world? Because the devil wants it to be that way? Edit: or at the very least, Christianity is telling that.
@@Games57584 John 2:15 specifically says do not love the world. This is because it is not your forever home, nor is it God's true kingdom, and virtually everything down here is a sin -- the devil runs amok down here. I know most ff players aren't Christians but this is the reasoning behind that.
@@MavisRecon Its funny how you can interpret what you want from everything. This reasoning is very weird but im sure that what you say is an absolute true for you. Nor for you in particular, we all do that
Oh wow less than one minute in and the shivers ran down my spine, nicely done! Apart from a couple weird hiccups in flow, and (if you have it blasting on stereo) a few weird transitions, this was amazing! Thank you so much!!
+ApocalypseKurtz dude, almost half of it is ff7 can you please enjoy the epicness of ff as a series and the music the amazing work of mainly Nobuo Uematsu and stop with the narrowmlndness? Personally I'd switch some of the ff7 songs for others, but that is my opinion and I won't question the maker. I'm sorry, I know this was posted 4 months ago and you didn't mean it in a disrespectful way but if you want ff7 music go look for it specifically. It's a cross-game medley for a reason
+Dominika Malicka lol its all good man I was actually being sarcastic, I think it has too much FF7 but apparently sarcasm doesn't translate well to online. it's all good though I love all the music.
Ok ^^' (for my defense I wrote the comment quite late into the night) But yeah, it had tons of ffvii music and I've seen people ask this sort of question for real under similar circumstances and I'm just so sick of it. I'm glad it was sarcasm, and that you proved me wrong about yourself. :)
I NEVER THOUGHT IN 97 THAT ONE DAY WE WOULD PLAY JUST LIKE IN THE INTRO, AND NOW THE REALITY IS SO MUCH MORE THAN THIS....THANKS TO SCIENCE LEZ GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
